3 weeks and 3000 miles later get tagged by some dumb broad on her phone not paying attention to the red light...or the 5-6 cars she passed stopped waiting for said red light.
I was going the opposite direction, car in front, behind and alongside me. I had time to double check the light as I saw her coming. Still red for us. A month old Bronco tagged her, she was doing at least the speed limit (55). Spun her around a couple times, bounced lightly off the Heep in front of me and right into me. Actually the driver of the Bronco is the blonde in the pic.
Initial estimate was over $13k. Guessing it was over $15k by the time he finished since he found more crap wrong once he got into it.
So far I've only hit one deer. Luckily i still had the plow on the truck at the time. Saw its head pop up out of the ditch and thud, Broke all 4 legs about 8" off the ground and turned most of its internals to jello.
I hit one with a V plow...it was in the ditch and jumped in front of me...dead center at about 60. Knocked my plow lights out of adjustment. Slid forever before going in the other ditch.
Hit another with a straight blade, not going quite so fast. Turned around and pushed it off the road so no one else freaked out and wrecked.
Got 2 out of 3 with my Sterling. Going about 45 and 2 jumped out while the other stayed along the road. I was salting and in a hurry so not sure what happened to them.

well, not a total, offered a decent payout, but refuse to continue to allow full coverage, liability only. plan is to fix and see about trading for something else, wife paid cash for the car back in Feb and has put 25000 miles on it since.
