We have the COVID smoking gun - and a change in the English lexicon

Questions...

Do you find rand paul to be a fighter?
Did he fight enough during the debates?
Has he fought enough in the senate?

I say this, because it's not always about fighting enough or being a fighter. It takes being a winner. And rand, is not.

If you Werent saying 'we should had rand'... carryon:flipoff2:
hah "in the debates"
I recall him being pushed into a dark corner as far from the attention as possible, if he was even allowed to participate

still the only R I'd vote for

Not really what happened. He was destroyed by the Orange Father in a single statement. As Trump was ascending up the ranks of the debate rankings, from nowhere with zero chance to win, Paul was next in line. The media, Fox in particular, ranted over and over how Paul had to attack Trump. So he tried. This was all he had. He said Trump had bought political favors and used his money to buy influence. And Trump simply said, " you never minded taking my money" And that was all it took and Donny destroyed Pauley in a single moment. True story. Long Live Narrock

So, he needs permission to fight to win? Rand needs xyz's approval to stand up?

I guess the media doesnt have a 'filibuster or bust' option rand can use.

Hes hardly a fighter and not a winner. Hes a politician who tries playing off the founders. unlike the founders, when hes punched in the mouth, he cowers. Both figuratively and literally.

Please, show me where hes fought to win, where hes risked something, where he did something other than grandstand and filibuster. Show me an ounce of courage hes displayed.

AOC has bigger balls than Rand :lmao:

What was it, 15 born&bred career politicians vs 1 Trump at the debates? If you presume a politician counts as a whole number

AOC has bigger balls than Rand :lmao:

AOC knows the media will always have her back so she can say the dumbest shit possible and get a pass.
She can even lie about her life being in danger during the far-off riots and accuse Ted Cruz of trying to have her murdered.
I can only imagine you think that's fair and just because it's ok for liberals to lie -constantly.

Rand does not break the law like her, but rather sticks with facts and the constitution.
When he makes the slightest gaff it will be on the news 24/7 with liberal fact checkers and people crying in the background.
I guess that hurts some members' feelings. Maybe they should stfu and go away.

both of us know that I'm way too lazy to bother looking anything up for a political argument
that might be your deal, but I've got important shit to procrastinate on doing

C'mon, you know you're just procrastinating to go procrastinate :stirthepot:

They found the original wild host for the original SARS in a matter of weeks if I remember correctly. They still haven't found the original wild host for COVID.

I don't think it exists. I think it originated in that Wuhan lab. I don't necessarily think it was anything nefarious. I don't rule that out, but I think there's a good chance that a level 4 virology lab with a history of safety protocol violation in very close proximity to the claimed "ground zero" for this virus is highly likely to be the source. Occam's Razor and all that.

From about day 3 of us being shutdown, I suspected Biological Warfare. The Chinese were here in the "west" simply observing how we run our lives and came to conclusion that our health system is poor and teetering on the edge of collapse. How we socially act through sports, events, schools, etc just make it that much easier... Destroy the economy first before the next phase. Not sure what the next phase is, but we will find out soon. We cant even finger point, its brilliant.

the chinese didn't shut down our economy, though...

our own "elected officials" did.

Not sure where you mixed up me saying AOC has bigger balls than Rand with me being even a 10% supporter of her. But okay. Shes pushed agendas that will probably pass unfortunately. Shes changed her party, hopefully to their detriment. Rand? Hes the icon of libertarians, but hasnt changed his party. His agendas he hasnt pushed to the point of passing.

I dont disagree with the treatment conservatives get compared to their counterparts. Tons of people do what rand does, doesnt make any of them capable of winning at anything. 2016 showed that. There were a few great candidates, a few good ones, and then just candidates.

What big ticket, non procedural related accomplishments has Rand accomplished? Facts, great. Constitutional, awesome. Big supporter of that. Has he sponsored/ co-sponsored monumental or grand bills that passed? Has he worked the groups needed? Is he pragmatic or an absolutionist? Moving the football a yard forward> not moving it a yard at all because the reasoning isnt provided in 'federalist/antifederalist papers' or isnt congruent with 'the select writings of Thomas Jefferson ', or gasp, a floor member didnt follow Senate rules 471.19a sect 14 paragraph 21 sentence 3 on a bill that was 70% good. Has he as a politician done anything other than getting elected, as in, has he accomplished what he said he would?

I dont care if someone supports rand or aoc or whoever. Just dont confuse rand for being a winning fighter. That's proven, during presidential campaignS, in the senate, and in his front yard. But that's my viewpoint.

Libertarian voters :lmao: , I swear, some of them are so ardent theyd fight a civil war today with muskets and hemp pants.

The virus broke out as Trump was cleared of the impeachment almost to the day . .. . .

Actually the 1st case in the USA was the same day as the Dems walked the impeachment papers in. Remember that grandstand?

“case”

it was here sept 2019. Or earlier

More accurately the end of the bogus impeachment was the day the media decided to start focusing on Controllavirus.

In November 2019 one of my co-workers was on vacation in Japan and visited China for a couple of days as well. About a week after his return he came down with a "bad cold"; about 2 weeks later most of my team was "out sick" with said "bad cold" including me. I was out for about 3 days, felt more like the flu and less like a cold and took about 4 more weeks to fully recover (and get my full sense of smell/taste back). My wife & kids came down with it about 2 weeks after me; kids bounced back in about a day, the wife was down for 2 - 3 days as well (with the same loss of taste/smell). Was it the Controllavirus that we had or just the seasonal cold/flu?

All true

Rand Paul is a do nothing that somehow keeps capturing the imagination of the unimaginative.
