Was looking for tall skinny tires. Found some. https://tirestreets.com/products/accelera-badak-x-treme?variant=31624008695866 They are radials too. Going on a K30 farm truck so no need for very large tire. Will be back with updates once these show up.

You looking for a narrow 35? do you need something that aggressive or just a regular Mt?

kenda makes a 35x10.50R17 in an at, toyo makes a 35x11.50r17, BFG makes a 34x10.50r17, then there is 255/85r16s or 255/80r17 those are more like a 33x9.5 though, but more selection.

I actually almost started the same thread. I have 285/70r17s on our 4runner and want something a little taller and narrower. The BFGs would probably be perfect, but are like $300+ ea and I'd like an MT, the kendas might be a little tall, but again, I'd like an Mt.

I’ll be very interested to see how they go on a heavy truck. I believe they’re intended as a competition tire for the Asian market for their light rainforest /winch challenge vehicles. Shame they’re a radial.
Any idea what they weigh?

Looks like a Bogger, Trep and a Thornbird had a 3 way. :flipoff2:

Kinda cool looking but I bet they are loud!

looks like a bogger with better lateral traction to me, one of my biggest complaints on the rocks with mine, running the fronts backwards helps

I will weigh them when they get here. Fellow on another site said they are on the soft side.

I wanted aggressive. Looked at the tires you mention, and have Toyo 40/13.50-17 on other truck-good tire. Tread with pics https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/tall-skinny-tires.1024939/page-12

Swamper blem list has 35x10x16 and 35x10x17 tslsx2 for 175 and 185

I am sure you are probably already aware, but several manufactures make a 285/75R17 (34x11.25R17).

34x9.5 they flat spot in a couple days if let sitting but doesn't take long to smooth back out.

I recently switched to these 35x10.5x17 Kenda tires. They are doing well unbalanced on beadlocks, have the M&S stamp and measure true to size.

what the latest on the old q78 buckshots? are they gone for good?

You have a comparison to a 285/70r17 by any chance?

I don't but should be noticeable bigger. I went from a 285/70/18 with body mount chop and trimming to these and had to do more cutting. I've now folded over the body seam and still rub a bit so need to get in there again.

Sure wish I could have found some to replace my dry rotted ones before settling on the q78 TSL

i was able to get some smaller p78 buckshots for a friend a few years ago

I have the 285/70r17s on stock 4runner wheels on a 96 4runner. They rub a little on kinda everything  the only reason I think I'm getting away with it is that I don't have much scrub. I wanted slightly taller, but can't go any wider. I was trying to trick myself into the 35x10.50R17 fitting because it's narrower, I really don't think it will

OP, did you get your tires? How are they? Anyone know anything about the Armstrong ATs shown on the website? They look pretty good and for the price seem hard to beat. Especially with the 30 day return policy and warranty terms.
