Vances's RNC speech

Eric Trump is sucking the energy out of the building. He's not good at this. Way too many dramatic pauses for applause that just isn't coming.

I completely disagree. He is stating facts the media ignores.

I loved the NBC pop up with his credentials and at the bottom "signed checks to stormy daniiels"

God they are fucking desperate.

I mean he's just bad at public speaking. His timing and feel for the crowd is just awful. He was sucking the energy out of the room while thinking he was killing it.

I'm watching it on NBC and they are fucking delusional. Not sure who else is carrying it, but they can't disagree with everything stated fast enough when the speakers end their speeches.

Hulk Hogan??? What in the fuck is this???

This is straight up out of Idiocracy.
Entertainment? ..And I agree. But this is our world. I don't have to like it.

I'm guessing it would be a boring ass convention otherwise.

I just turned 42 and if you would've told the high school version of me that Kid fucking Rock would be playing at a future RNC I would've laughed my fucking ass off and told you that whoever you bought that last bag of weed from, let's go back and buy all he's got. Lee Greenwood? Yeah, 100%. Kid Rock? Hell Hogan? Get all the way the fuck outta here with that shit! No fucking way! :lmao:

People from your youth are getting old? Say it aint so. :flipoff2:

I can't say I had a good view of trump before he was president but it wasn't all that bad either since all I knew of him was he was a rich as fuck business man that was kind of a dick.

Once he started seriously campaigning and the media flipped and started trying to destroy him I knew he was worthy of my vote. If your enemy hates and fears someone so badly they can't be all that terrible.

Since his time in the oval office started the media and those controlling it has quadrupled down on him thus cementing my opinion that he needs to be in office again.

I'm not a hardcore trumpet by any means but I know what I see and pay attention to it far more than what I'm shown.

The VP pick is an interesting one but I can't say I disagree with what his positions are more often than not so far. Him talking shit about trump pre 2016 is just a fart in the wind at this point.

Very well said.

I just hope, if Trump wins, they get Rick Flair to introduce him at the swearing in, long feather robe and all.

So what is the statute of limitations on opinions? Or are we dreading up things back to when we're teenagers again like cancel culture?

I know nothing about Vance other than what I read here. But a lot... a LOT of people were Never Trumpers before 2016 and changed their mind over his administration.
This exactly, while I don’t agree with everything the guy says he’s not afraid to walk something back and say he was either misinformed or ignorant about something and change his opinion. To me that is transparency and a step in the right direction. Who here never says any retarded shit and gets proven wrong

Anyone who has never changed their mind on anything is too dumb to realize they get shit wrong or is too proud to admit it, which oddly enough would make you even dumber than the former.

True.

But politicians changing their mind is absolutely worthy of suspicion…

I disagree. Same policy applies IMO. Now if they're constantly flip flopping all over the place, that's another story. But not evolving their opinion on anything isn't good.
