Vances's RNC speech

So what is the statute of limitations on opinions? Or are we dreading up things back to when we're teenagers again like cancel culture?

I know nothing about Vance other than what I read here. But a lot... a LOT of people were Never Trumpers before 2016 and changed their mind over his administration.

Are you a Kevin ? Dramatic much ?

Words have consequences, at least they should.
When you declare that someone is Hitler and never retract that (until recently) what has taken place to change your mind ? Not a single thing except you now want more power than you currently have. Theres no dredging going on, its a fact.

Not any different than Kameltoe saying repeatedly that Joetatoe is a pedo and many other things, all the way up to her selection as VP

It's intimating he is pro 2A, just like is maw, maw without straight up saying it.

He is trying to grab the people who feel the current admin made them promises of prosperity and fucking lied.

I didn't hear him say anything that isn't already a talking point, but he is a husband of a minority and has two mixed race children. The D's will have a harder time ripping on him just because of those facts.

Yeah that's the disconnect, doesn't have nothing to do with 2a. Which makes me wonder if he doesn't know the difference there he's not in touch with the issues.

The family part might be good for the ticket.

As a plus he's not 75-98 years old. If that can be a plus.

I have a problem with all the horrible shit he said about Trump and then here we are. Nothing about Trump has changed so theres no way to reconcile the things he said.

Don't give 2 craps if he bad mouthed Trump before. Actually maybe I do, I might like him more if he's willing to be critical of his superiors. I don't care for yes people.

For a seasoned attorney, I think he stumbled a couple of times. All in all I think he did pretty good.

I may add more tomorrow after I've had some time to digest and hear the MSDNC rebuttal to see how good I think he actually did.
It sounded like the wording on the teleprompter may have been slightly confusing, or he lost focus and lost his place.
over all not bad.

I can't say I had a good view of trump before he was president but it wasn't all that bad either since all I knew of him was he was a rich as fuck business man that was kind of a dick.

Once he started seriously campaigning and the media flipped and started trying to destroy him I knew he was worthy of my vote. If your enemy hates and fears someone so badly they can't be all that terrible.

Since his time in the oval office started the media and those controlling it has quadrupled down on him thus cementing my opinion that he needs to be in office again.

I'm not a hardcore trumpet by any means but I know what I see and pay attention to it far more than what I'm shown.

The VP pick is an interesting one but I can't say I disagree with what his positions are more often than not so far. Him talking shit about trump pre 2016 is just a fart in the wind at this point.

I don't think you have to worry about Vance's loyalty to Trump. Trump certainly isn't. Loyalty to Donald Trump has always been what has been most important to Trump.

He said that he had bought into the media narrative about Trump. And that once Trump started to govern and do a good job, he changed his mind about Trump and realized he had been wrong.

That's what he said in an interview at the convention.

Whoa. Lets pick a different name to depict a male Karen. :flipoff2: I think Karl is more fitting.

I think it's retarded how everyone uses safes these days.
The Chief Engineer at my last command did an open house in Virginia prior to moving to Wa. He was selling his house and still had stuff in there to stage the house for potential buyers.

He had cameras and an alarm system.

Monday morning, two guys used a crow bar to get into the front door, walked straight to the closet where he kept his guns, took all the guns and walked through the neighborhood to their vehicle and drove away.

He has all this on camera and the alarm system activated. The police arrived minutes after they were already gone. They were also smart enough to park around the corner where his cameras would not get the vehicle or plates.

The whole ordeal took them less than 4 minutes from getting out of their vehicle to driving away. They knew exactly what they were looking for and exactly how to pull off the crime.

Guns in a safe would have definitely cost the thieves some extra time.

Trump was not a lifer politician, and neither is he. Not sure if the rest of the nation will catch that. I think He was a good pick.

I'm not 100% sold on Vance, But he is representing a lot of younger conservatives with more populous views though.

Populous meaning "us vs. the elites". You have that on both sides. Populists in each party find a surprising amount of common ground, especially when the groups that they consider "elites" are in bed with each other I.E. Corporations and the administrative state.

Populism is a worldview that can very easily morph into some nasty ideology. Scepticism of the elite is necessary, but a nation also requires much more than that. The libertarian leaning conservatives, the Populous Conservatives, The Religious Conservatives, and the establishment conservatives are all moving in step for now. I guess we will see what they can do.

I completely understand Vances flip flop on Trump. I thought Trump was a democrat plant to fix the vote for Hillary in 2016. I was wrong and changed my mind.
