Meh...I dont do Tic Toc but the wife and daughter annoy me with reposts from it. 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% are US citizens with most being kids of voting age on the wifes reposts discussing US politics. Yep there are young versions of Joe Rogan with an opposing view from Fox, Breitbart, and Truth Social out there in large numbers...and kids on Tic Toc listen.



Whether the CCP collects data isnt any different than our own .gov (NSA, HS, FBI, CIA) in the grand scheme. Frankly Im more concerned about folks in E Europe, Russia and India trying to break into my bank accounts or peddling my info on the dark web...than the CCP trying to convince this old curmudgeon to change his mind on political topics. :laughing:
 
I think the true danger is that TikTok/CCP control the algorithms that server up whats next. Thats a POWERFUL tool. Looking at some of the recent data videos served up were overwhelming pro hamas. If you see tiktok as a viable news source and all you see are videos slanted towards hamas and anti israel then thats how they form opinions.
