Two Oregon counties vote to join Idaho to become "Greater Idaho

That's a lot of words explaining how you really just don't understand what you're trying to talk about.

Big city laws affect small towns 100% of the time in all states. How are illinois gun laws doing these days due to Chicago legislation? How about the real easy one, how are the emissions laws in the majority of the US these days due to the smog issues in Los Angeles? C.A.R.B. is just another sister of the E.P.A. when you boil it all down and the rest of the country has to deal with the bullshit without having a chance to vote on it because we don't get to vote on their rules.

Dude, i get how city voter base can effect people that dont live in thr city. I understand some rural areas in multnomah, washington, and clackamas are effected by DEQ laws just because of portland. Yea DEQ is bs, the cost to register/DEQ is $200 and thats too high...but onestly i have better things to care about and can afford it as a measly trade worker.

I would love to see my tax dollars in use, the roads in pdx suck...i get reminded how much money is taken out of my check every pothole i hit lol. Oh well, i am not worrying to change portland. If an hour away isnt far enough, ill look elsewhere. My outlook is to enjoy as much as i can in pdx, save and get out.

Do you wake up and just worry everyday about politics? Those politicians dont worry about you. Ill occupy my small space of intellect with work, family, and travel. When challenges arise ill deal with them, just because im not worried now doesnt mean i couldnt feel threatened at some point. Till then ill just show people how much i dont understand about politics, call me lucky...doesnt seem like a great profession :flipoff2:
