Trump indicated for election interference

you folks ate up with the TDS is truly entertaining. and we all knew about his bankruptcies 6 or 7 years ago. if there was anything incriminating it would have come out years ago,
I didn't say his bankruptcies were illegal, it's just a statement to me what kind of man he is. I have worked for big corps, and for big companies with a sole owner, you don't have to file chap 11 to succeed. Trumps history of casino and hotel ownership has been wrought with failure, yet he constantly brags about how great a businessman he is. Call it TDS if you want, that's the easy way out for sure, but I'm just calling it like I see it, and until we get a real leader in office we're doomed to have these old fucks just recycled through the system.

I find it ironic that the "impartial" courts are demanding the use of book value for property and the law (Dodd-Frank) requires loans and financial instruments based on Real Property be valuated at current market values (Mark to Market). Totally above board.

that's different.

You're the one who started calling people fluffers who have a messiah... your TDS is real.

Bankruptcy is a financial tool. Do I think it should exist? Nope... I don't. But as long as it does, any good business person will have it as part of his/her arsenal of financial tools... period.

he is a pretty successful failure. i would be just fine with his wealth right now.

Trump's Federal charges are basically dead now. SCOTUS just denied Jack Smith's request to bypass the appellate courts. Their chances of getting him in trial in a Federal court are basically zero now.

His audacious personality and opulent properties brought attention — and countless players — to Atlantic City as it sought to overtake Las Vegas as the country’s gambling capital. But a close examination of regulatory reviews, court records and security filings by The New York Times leaves little doubt that Mr. Trump’s casino business was a protracted failure. Though he now says his casinos were overtaken by the same tidal wave that eventually slammed this seaside city’s gambling industry, in reality he was failing in Atlantic City long before Atlantic City itself was failing.

But even as his companies did poorly, Mr. Trump did well. He put up little of his own money, shifted personal debts to the casinos and collected millions of dollars in salary, bonuses and other payments. The burden of his failures fell on investors and others who had bet on his business acumen.

The guy is a swindler, he uses other people's $$$$$$$, draws off millions for himself and leaves the investors holding the bag. :flipoff: that asshole.

. . . but unlike the current PO(ta)TUS, he didn't do that from the White House.

Somehow, treason pisses me off more than (allegedly) swindling casino investors.

It's amazing how the self proclaimed "non lemming" has his lips firmly wrapped around the cock that is the New York Times. :lmao:

Not sure that's accurate. A lot of suspicious stuff around the Saudis and Trump.

Honestly, I've just come to the conclusion that anyone who makes it to that level of power and wealth is virtually certain to be crooked as fuck and that sucks.

Dunno, if it's proven, fry him. Until then, it's unproven.

I couldn't care much less about Trump; I just miss having 4 years of a pro-America POTUS who miraculously undid the majority of the foreign policy and trade damage that Urkell did. I defy anyone to point to a single thing that's better about the USA under Brandon. 1 fucking thing.

Yes, what He did with the casino was legal by the laws our congress. (Just like his taxes) If you don’t want to invest with him under his terms, you shouldn’t. I don’t have a choice about Biden’s curruption.

Exactly. Two businessmen fucking each over or fucking over investors is one thing, using the power of the government to enrich yourself is bullshit and should enrage you. Same with stealing already stolen tax money or popping off wars on multiple fronts to line the pockets of yourself and people connected to you.

Like every other big business, banks, auto makers, the Red Cross, BLM, and thousands more, he is just lime-lighted.

There's lots of other sources, but since your hero can do no wrong you'll never look at them, let alone believe them.

This is you............................

Welcome to capitalism, comrade

Like big banks, auto makers, green energy, war, nation building, highways, land development, public schools, universities, health care, insurance... I am sure I left a few out. They all fucking suck and you can thank a politician that got wealthy while in office.

Welcome to capitalism, comrade

Welcome to crony capitalism would be far more accurate. I found all the fixation on "Russian oligarchs" pretty comically hypocritical early on in the Ukraine war. Like damn, you're telling me that powerful wealthy individuals have a ton of power because their entire existence is based off of government grifting? Sounds just like the military industrial complex to me.

Fluffer.

I dont have time to analyze this so linkslide it is

Washington — The Supreme Court on Friday declined for now to take up a landmark case over whether former President Donald Trump is absolutely immune from prosecution for alleged crimes committed while he was in office, a move that allows the appeals process to play out first.

The court issued a one-line, unsigned order denying the request from special counsel Jack Smith: "The petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment is denied." There were no noted dissents.

The Supreme Court's decision Friday is a blow to Smith and his team of prosecutors, who have pushed the courts to move quickly to hold trials in the Washington case and the second prosecution in Florida before the presidential election swings into full gear. Trump's attorneys, meanwhile, have urged the courts to delay the trials until after the election.

Imagine being this mad about Trump's real estate deals while he's living rent free in your head. :shaking:

Most squeeky clean billionaire i ever saw. Haters gonna hate regardless.
No shit. I'm a thousandaire on a good day and I probably couldn't hold up to 8 years of every single Federal agency being weaponized against me. They turn that kind of pressure on anyone and have to resort to coming after you for realistic real estate "overestimates" you know they can't find jack fucking shit.

Anyone notice that the SC handed Trump a win, and the lemmings immediately went to rehashing old Hate Trump arguments (pre 2016) that no one cares about. We already voted for him twice knowing these things, not going to change anyone's mind.

Honestly, I've just come to the conclusion that anyone who makes it to that level of power and wealth is virtually certain to be crooked as fuck and that sucks.
It's a bit sad or disappointing that you assume "everyone" sinks to the level at which progressive opportunists have been caught operating. I'm never sure if you're selling or buying the narrative that horrific crimes those douchebags are committing is to be expected. Either way, your perspective is a bit fawker'd.

With the way our political game is rigged through the two major parties you can't climb the ladder without selling your soul and being crooked as fuck. It is what it is.

And then we have a candidate who isn’t owned… and people won’t vote for him/her because “throwing vote away” or “unelectable” or “won’t be able to do anything anyway” so we perpetuate the problems that your complaining about.
