Trump indicated for election interference

super conspiracy theory... maybe they are running biden so he does lose to trump so they can completely riot and go nuts.

Probably every mogul is guilty of same
I used to work for a guy that did that. Claimed he owned all these businesses, and homes and real estate, when he was leveraged to the hilt on all of it. I only saw him get denied funding one time, these banks and leasing companies were only too happy to make the sale. It's still illegal as fuck, and because others do it doesn't make it right or excusable.

it's only illegal for a citizen to do it...

the government can do it whenever they want... and then charge you taxes for their valuation...

If all the loans are paid back, there is no victim, another civil suit just designed to drain Trump of money.

I knew a guy like that, once told the bank president that he owes him way too much money not to loan him the money. but everything the guy touched turned to gold. He died a few months ago and I bet his wife is still finding random properties he bought in various states.

Another suit

Is that not how the entirety of the real estate market operates? Hell that's how our fucking currency works.

You're right, to a point. But it's hard to make that argument when the laws are never enforced and allowed to be continually broken to the point breaking those laws is an industry standard.

Picking and choosing who to apply the law to for political purposes is hardly justice.

If Trump says a property is worth X and is paying taxes based on X I don't see an issue? Hell the county values my house at Y and I can probably sell it for much more than Y.

This had nothing to do with property tax. It had to do with loans. There were disclaimers. The lenders get their own appraisals. Loans all got paid back. There are no victims.

This is the only thing they can come up with using "show me the man and I will show you his crime".......

We live in a 🍌 republic.

IIRC the argument was that he was claiming 2-3x the value when talking to the bank vs what he was claiming when arguing the assessed value for taxes.
Part of it may be including some portion of the building revenue in the valuation?
It would be interesting to compare accessed value, the bank's value and Trump's claimed value.

All they have been talking about are the loans. At least as far as I have heard...

Most likely a whole different set of lawyers handling that :grinpimp:

This is all another bunch of bullshit.
