What's new

Toy hauler tongue jack landing gear

TLDR but is all the weight hanging off of those 3 screws?
Each 3/8-16 bolt is good for 3000 lbs so I think I'm good :homer:

Also it's what the original jack used.

Finished...

Used the bling foot from a Fulton wakeboard boat trailer jack, hopefully its up to the task.
Painted the drop tube inside and out and made that little slip on box for the jack foot.

In the wild...
Got in a real doozie of a spot, not sure how I'm getting out of it yet, had hell getting unhooked, truck was at a extreme downward angle to the RV, I had the WD arms all bound up and didn't realize it till it was too late.
Shit got real aggressive :homer:

All the slope  I carry 8x8, 6x6, 4x4 and 2x4 cribbing in my motorhome just in case

Looks like a good spot to call it a few weeks from now problem

I used to carry wood like that and it seemed like I never needed it after putting the rear jacks on.
Now that we're getting more adventurous I might need to reconsider...
