Is there any MAJOR benefit to the motobilt 4 link kit over doing it the old fashioned way? The only obvious I see is the built in skidplate. Looking for opinions.

Besides not having to figure out the majority of geometry, fabbing your own brackets and links?

You can purchase the skid alone if that's the only part you really want.

What he said ^. If I could afford to start my build over (time AND money), I would go with a prefabbed solution like what Motobilt offers. I would look into the new Rock Krawler setup too, although I dont know if it is available yet. Seems like a good option. Of course, there is always the Genright Tracer setup too (cost benefit ratio doesn't make sense on that one for me though).
