What's new

the un-official California idiocy uber thread

Did you actually read what I wrote? The entire point of my post was that politicians ignore moderate viewpoints.

I’m not sure you would recognize a moderate viewpoint if it kicked you in the balls….

Funny…

I live in this train wreck. I have the news on all day at work, and usually catch the local MSM in the evening. The only time I see/hear anything about stupid shit in the bay area or LA is here, or Fox news :homer:
About the same here. Until we ship out to the new place all I'll hear is on Chit-Chat and certain Twitter accounts that are in my Gmail digest. After we move I'll probably do the same, if I have internet. If not, I'll catch it via the county library wifi.

Where you heading?

I escaped San Diego in '99 (and I thought CA was a shithole then:eek:).

I wonder if some of this came from this.
Long story short, people were stealing from homedepot, loss prevention said something, the dirtbags shot loss prevention.

I read it.

But why aren't politicians in other states not poised to do what this man is doing?

The entire point of this thread is that many, not all, of the most lunatic leftist government ideas are hatched and implemented in California.

I can only surmise they want to completely destroy the city and state they live.

Even dogs have enough sense not to deficate where they slumber
California, Florida, Texas, New York...They're all canaries in the coal mine because of their large population sizes.

I clicked through to the article, and the photos of those two "white supremacists" have been scrubbed from the page :shaking:

Adding that info. from another source:

. . . and there was a fucking baby in the car :mad3:

That's an old story. Since we mentioned Home Depot . . . . . My Credit Union automatically flagged my $800 purchase there yesterday I made over the web page with the Visa Charge card. My sale failed due to Invalid Card. The good thing about this story is that a live human answered the card problem phone at the credit union, and resolved after verifying my identify and sale. She stated that So much fraud occurs at Home Depot and Lowes in this area, zip code I presume, they auto fail every large transaction for security and require secondary card holder validation. I cant see business taking all this loss, this bullshit without some reaction politically. I voted for the Three Strikes Law and to my knowledge it has not been overturned or otherwise diminished. The people of the State, not San Francisco, voted that in.

Yes, but look at the differences between TX, FL and CA , NY.
I can't believe you responded to his comment. It was nonsensical and was devoid of any correlation to the topic. And he deflected anyway.

TX is well on its way to being NY.

Their culture of central authority worship and lawfulness means the culture and institutions are already there. All the leftists have to do is plant a little bit of their socialist culture and win a few minor elections and those idiots will be paying the same usury taxes and putting up with the same invasive government as people in the northeast do.

In contrast, state full or floridamen and old people who've seen all the tricks before is much harder to tame.

figured it needed it's own thread given the amount of content

New proposal - security guards should not be allowed to use guns to defend property.

That's already the law, isn't it?

For you folks who actually live in Cali, or have, has it always been this way, and now it is just more apparent due to tech, or do you remember when it started circling the drain?

I'm in downtown San Francisco daily and aside from the homeless/drug problem I don't think an IBB'er that's never been here would even notice anything abnormal or "Californian" walking around.

You simply cant resist riding my sack. Your statement is typical for you, just slash and burn, with a side order of personal venom. My comment was directly related to the topic and is not a deflection. Arse Sidways understands, easily. I'll explain real slow for you.

" California, Florida, Texas, New York...They're all canaries in the coal mine because of their large population sizes."

I responded that " Yes, but look at the differences between TX, FL and CA , NY."

NY/ CA and TX/FL are different as night and day politically. That is obvious to anyone. You cant understand that ? :shaking: It was obvious to anyone, except you apparently. I could waste more space here proving what a little bitch you can be, easily. My comment makes a lot of sense, and is not deflecting anything. If you are too lame to figure shit out, or such a mental cripple that you cant resist taking inane cheap shots at people you dont know, then Shut the fuckup.

What a sorry ass little bitch :lmao::lmao::lmao:

It's a big fuckin state and shit rolls eastward.

Growing up in the 90s in Sacramento it didn't seem that different than anywhere else. We had a few homeless that lived under bridges and overpasses, usually people or local businesses knew them by name and would help them out occasionally. We knew San Francisco was for the gays but you could go down there on a weekend and catch a ball game or hit the pier for some seafood.

Some of the older members in the SF or LA areas may have a better read on how it used to be and when it changed.

For me the 08 recession and the Obama presidency changed a lot of how I thought, which may have made me notice things being fucky. Most recently the changes to what constitutes felony and misdemeanor theft and the massive spending on supporting and encouraging the homeless problem have made things noticeably worse. You used to be able to put your nose to the grindstone, mind your business and you could thrive here. That is getting harder and harder to do and the bullshit is constantly in your face.

Through the '80s and maybe even most of the '90s, it was seemingly sane.
As Socialist trainees indoctrinated in academia filtered into public leadership, "we" replaced what worked well for decades with what sounded good that election cycle :mad3:

My top candidates for contributors (pulled straight outta' my ass ):
  • Nuthouses shut down by the Gipper :shaking:
  • Activist DAs and judges made policing nearly impossible
  • Fucktard civic leaders incentivized homelessness out of "compassion"
  • Pronouns and GimmeGimmes destroyed personal accountability via "free" shit
  • Fuckheads like ev13wt started abandoning boats on the freeway

The thing that always struck me working in downtown SF was that you would see businessmen in five thousand dollar suits walking down the same sidewalk as a drunk homeless guy walking around with shit coming out if his pantleg's and it was like two overlapping planes of existence where neither could see the other. It's a weird dynamic.

I know most East Bay cities were a lot cleaner back when the local cops could just put their bums on the last BART train to SF at night

I read all the exchanges and was of the opinion nobody correctly interpreted what the other was saying but wanted to see where it went

Well I dug the skateboard vids of years past, and the hill bombing in SF. Maybe that's the only cool thing that's still there.

You need to quit speaking Texican. If you make personal cryptic shit calls, you are required to spell your shit out in english, not Texaican. Vain ? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

English 1a
- subject ?? Does your post have one ?

- Web Shit talk - link - What does your post link to ??? I think it links to Splib

AD/HD's post is sensical and on topic. You have a personal problem, and you make it it personal.

Fuck the fuck off.

I can sling shit with a Texas Asshat, and have fun and provide entertainment, or

I can place the shit stain on ignore.

I dunno.
