What's new

The *Official* "That's Methed up" thread.

This is a little cleaner and much cooler!

Edit: Don't know why the screenshot chopped it off, but those are 4 atv tires added as duallys on the front.

It's methed up, right? Or does that actually get you traction without pretzling the tires?

was going to post this in the craigslist thread, but this seems more fitting...

One of a kind old church bus cut down with 8.2 GM diesel. Runs on diesel and vegetable oil. $2500.00 obo.

That looks like it will still be running on rendered racoon grease in 300 years. Wood drive.

Yeah, they just stuck atv tires on the outside, for traction I guess?

Got a better pic.
I bet it'd help a lot with gravel parking lot flotation when you've got nothing on the forks and one of the back wheels falls into a 3/4" deep depression which would normally lift one of the front wheels 1/4" off the ground

Not sure if it fits in the interesting Craigslist deals but it definitely fits in here

Yep. There is nothing more useless than the average forklift on anything but a perfect surface.

Not sure if it belongs here or in the win thread, but there is a chance meth could've been involved.

I'd say "win". Years ago, I met a farmer who bought those cheap-ish at >100k miles from rich yuppies & used 'em as his ranch car / dog hauler (back seat leather was inundated with mud & dog hair). Built like a tank + factory posi rear diff = old guy had a good idea. The fact that it enraged MBZ elitists was just a bonus

I've seen that half a dozen times, never been methy. Usually some old boy blacksmith/welder type fella, the kinda guy that fixes the wrought iron on top of the old rock wall at grandma's house.
Also, it lets you cruise past the scales in areas where flatbeds and utility bodies must stop but not pickups. Probably a "fuck the man" life hack more than methy, I'd guess :grinpimp:
