What's new

The Kamala thread.

Maybe so.

I mean, honestly my opinion on Trump really hasn't changed. The Democrats have just gotten so anti-democratic in their actions while espousing defense of democracy rhetoric that it's forcing me to vote for someone I quite honestly despise.
Wrong probably wasn't the right word. But generally speaking you can show people facts and evidence all day long and their natural reaction is to go into fight or flight mode and dig into their position further. It's much easier to let someone think they came to a conclusion on their own than it is to try to convince them of something. The amount of people who are going to silently change an opinion is always going to be far greater than those who admit it. Basic human psychology over rides rational thought more often than not.

‘She laughs so expressively’: Putin makes tongue-in-cheek endorsement of Kamala Harris’ presidential bid

Russian President Vladimir Putin sarcastically threw his support behind U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Thursday.
The Biden administration has claimed that Russia is actively trying to interfere in the U.S. election and sow discord in the process, even as questions remain as to whether the alleged operation has been effective in targeting voters. Putin joked on Thursday that he hopes that Harris wins the November elections as he initially supported President Joe Biden — before he was “removed” from the race — and because “she laughs so expressively,” according to multiple reports.
“I said that our ‘favorite,’ if I may say so, was the incumbent President Mr. Biden. He was removed from the race, but he recommended that all his supporters support Ms. Harris. So we will do the same, we will support her,” Putin said during an appearance at an economic forum in southeast Russia, multiple outlets reported.
“She laughs so expressively and infectiously that it means that everything is fine with her. And if everything is fine with her — then Trump has introduced so many restrictions and sanctions against Russia that no president has ever introduced before — and if everything is fine with Ms. Harris, then maybe she will refrain from such actions of this kind,” Putin said.
Putin previously claimed that he hoped Biden would win the November election, arguing that he was a “more experienced, predictable person” and “old school” politician.
Russia, as in past elections, has become a hot point of contention between both Democrats and Republicans. The Biden administration’s Department of Justice alleged Wednesday that Russia had been targeting American citizens to promote propaganda and spread disinformation about the election.
Former President Donald Trump was accused of colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election, although no evidence was ever found to support that claim. Accusations that Trump had colluded with Russia were borne out of the Steele Dossier, an intelligence file sourced by an FBI informant, which was widely debunked after revelations that it was based on unreliable or false claims and put forward by an individual working for a political firm positioned against Trump.

The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

If the MSM wasn't the propaganda arm of the Democrat party, Kamala would be polling at 3%.

My greatest hope is that the MSM gets slammed for election interference, colusion with the government to spread lies, defamation of political opponents...............and general fucktardedness.
I don't think what they are doing is covered by the 1A.

It is covered…

But….

The government holding citizens hostage (employment, jail) for the crime of disagreeing with the MSM does violate the 1st, imho

That's a lot to unpack.

She's so retarded she would probably take most of that as complimentary.

There's no way the son of the sitting POTUS was going to go on public trial to air the family's dirty laundry. They just wanted to delay this thing for as long as possible. Joe will just pardon him after Election Day anyway.

That or pleading guilty knowing he'll be shown some level of leniency is a lot better than letting investigations continue and possibly exposing more crimes. Not that they don't already have plenty of evidence of other crimes.

Let us not forget how much higher Hillary poled than President Trump did in 2016, remember what happened back then? I just wonder if Putin just came out like that to "endorse" President Trump without endorsing him KWIM?:homer::laughing:

NEW: Hold on - Is Kamala Trying to Change Debate Rules AGAIN, Even As She's Struggling in Debate Prep

Kamala Harris has been ducking reporters and not answering questions. She gave one softball interview — but with the aid of her "emotional support governor," Tim Walz.

But now the debate is quickly approaching on September 10. As we reported, they are now trying to argue that Harris is "fundamentally disadvantaged" by having the mics muted when she's not speaking.

But that's the very point that Joe Biden asked for — former President Donald Trump didn't ask for that. So, once again, right out of the box, the Harris team is being dishonest about that. Harris was also the one insisting on how they had to keep to the rules/date agreed to for a debate with Joe Biden, so it's hilarious she now wants to get out of those rules.

It also sounds like the Harris team is still trying to change the rules. They appear to be butting heads with ABC on what has been agreed to, even as they say there's an agreement. According to what was conveyed to POLITICO, Harris campaign official Brian Fallon claimed there were "verbal agreements" that were important to getting Harris to finally agree to proceed.

Those agreed-to stipulations enable the moderators to admonish any candidate who interrupts and urge them to convey anything said into a muted mic to the broader audience. Additionally, the network will have the ability to keep both microphones open during crosstalk or any heated back-and-forth. And, unlike in the June 27 debate between Trump and President Joe Biden, the small pool of journalists traveling with Harris should be in the debate hall and close enough to the stage to be able to hear any remarks that are muted for the wider television audience.

CNN reported a similar story.

The network, according to the source familiar, has offered assurances to the Harris campaign that if there is significant cross talk between Harris and Trump, it may choose to turn on the mics so that the public can understand what is happening, the moderator would discourage either candidate from interrupting constantly and the moderator would also work to explain to viewers what is being said.
Pool reporters, who can report on what they hear both sides saying, will also be in the room, the source added.
But ABC is saying there are no new rules or stipulations — that they're running with what was agreed to in May. So what's going on here? Has ABC made some off-the-record deal with the Harris team that they stupidly revealed? Or is this the Harris team just being their own typical mess?

Either way, Harris is now in Pennsylvania for her debate camp. Even before then, in strategy sessions, there were problems, as our sister site PJ Media notes, citing NOTUS.

"At times, according to two people familiar with the process, strategy sessions have careened sideways when the vice president focused too narrowly on minute details, effectively derailing the sessions," the report acknowledged.
The article appears intent on lowering expectations as well. But it also gave the game away as to why Kamala's campaign desperately wants live microphones.
Allies say Harris has had to defend her ideas inside the White House over the last three years, preparing her in some ways for this moment. But Harris is, for all intents and purposes, an out-of-practice debater with people who aren’t her colleagues. Next week’s debate will come just a month shy of four years since she debated Vice President Mike Pence in Utah. For that, aides holed up in a hotel in Salt Lake City days before the debate, as she used index cards to work through talking points — including the now-famous “I’m speaking” line, which one person involved in the session said was a crowdsourced suggestion. [emphasis mine]

So even that line was staged. Is there anything about Harris that isn't fake or staged?

But it sounds like she's falling into the same trap as Biden: Trump is so in her head, she's freaking out and overanalyzing because she can't do unscripted. She wanted to be able to talk over people like she did to Mike Pence but now she can't.

Now, I think the chances are whatever happens at the debate, a lot of the MSM will do what they can to paint it favorably for her even if she falls off the stage. But it sounds like she's already having issues, so it's going to be something to see.

Lets take the 51 current and former spooks that signed that letter about Hunters laptop being Russian games. They knew it was BS. Some of them were actually working at CNN, MSNBC and the others at the time. They went on the air and told their lies with the sole purpose of interfering with a national election.
That's the government, the press and the DNC colluding together to change the outcome of an election.

I don't think that falls under 1A protections, I think that's a crime.

I hear you brother! Tar and feathers await them when shit hits the fan! :flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

I imagine she has every question and scripted interjection provided by the debate organizers. She will be very well prepared. If you are expecting her to fall on her face, you will be disappointed. Trump may win, but if she just can stand up there for an hour without dying, and recite the script, she will be declared the winner.

she is going to overperform expectations. they have been lowering expectations for the last two weeks. She will be declared the winner as long as she doesnt stroke out like Biden. all the headlines will be "Trump told nothing but lies during the debate, Harris looks sharp and ready to lead as President".

its already been determined.

You can give her all the answers ahead of time, that doesn't mean she's not going to fall apart trying to remember and regurgitate that info. There's still plenty of opportunity for her to go off script and generally fall apart even if she's got all the answers and it's rigged.

Saw a commercial she did during football yesterday. She must have been drugged, she didn’t laugh, barely cracked a smile, and she lied outright saying she would cut taxes on the middle class and Trump would raise taxes on the middle class. :shaking: Bitch’s sponsors think we be stupid.

I think you nailed it.

( I have never understood the "Trump is a liar" narrative, when you can stand him up against all the other candidates, and he's damn near the pope in comparison, yet they all get a pass. Yeah.. corrupt media.. but they really believe what they are spewing... I don't get it)
