U.S. — A strong, capable, independent, girlboss of a woman that "don't need no man" has reportedly asked a man to accompany her on a job interview in case there are any hard questions.
Tim Walz, running mate for Kamala Harris on her 2024 presidential campaign, didn't need any further explanation. "Yeah, okay," he sighed. "I knew what I was signing up for."
According to sources, the pair prepped for the softball interview long into the night. Walz had hoped to prepare her enough that he wouldn't have to go, but reluctantly, he called it a night after she failed to answer a question about her favorite ice cream flavor.
"Come on, this is easy," said Walz.
"Well, there's just so many flavors!" Harris said, unable to contain her laughter. "There's chocolate, of course; always a classic. And vanilla! Right? But what is flavor? The flavor is what our tongue likes. If it likes something, right? Then we like it. You know? And ice cream is more expensive these days. It's getting harder and harder to put ice cream on the table. And I know that because I also have a table. I have a house. I have a car. But some people don't have those. So basically, that's bad."
At publishing time, Kamala Harris had been asked about Israel but fortunately Tim Walz had interrupted just in time by shouting, "I like dogs!"

It's pretty fucking hilarious in her first "real" interview it isn't a solo appearance. They're very obviously trying to hide her from any unscripted moments as much as they possibly can. They almost certainly already know the questions that are going to be asked and Walz is there to run interference if there's any off-script follow up questions so that word salad doesn't happen.

As the world eagerly awaits CNN's upcoming interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, many people are wondering how far-reaching and hard-hitting the questions are going to be.
Through extensive media networking contacts, The Babylon Bee has obtained the following exclusive list of questions from CNN's interview with the Democratic presidential ticket:
  1. "If you were one of the characters from Friends, who would you be?": We're thinking Monica, she's SUCH a boss.
  2. Are you team Edward or team Jacob?: The platform we all need to know.
  3. "You're, like, so amazing. Sorry, I guess that wasn't a question.": But it's SO true.
  4. "Where did you come up with your brilliant idea to build a border wall?": It just came out of nowhere!
  5. "What do you think about feminism? Do you like it?": Very tough, but fair question.
  6. "Is it difficult being a woman in politics? Same question for you, Vice President Harris.": Finally, a moment for Tim Walz to get some attention.
  7. "Are you brat? Or ARE. YOU. BRAT?": It's a trick question. She's obviously BRAT.
  8. "Your opponent is basically Hitler. Can you tell us why that's bad?": The hard-hitting questions we've all come to expect from CNN.
  9. "Would you rather fight 10 duck-sized Trumps or one Trump-sized duck?": Sources say Kamala will lean toward fighting the single giant duck.
  10. "Can we please, please hear that adorable laugh again?": Journalism at its finest.
Powerful stuff! Leave it to CNN to only bring out the deepest, most informative, and probing questions.

The other thing is, it doesn’t matter what she says… The press will make the story the fact that she did the interview. It won’t cover the content of the interview. And it definitely won’t be critical of any performance. It’ll all be about the courage to do the interview.

There will be no negative or critical coverage. That’s not one of their fears at all.

They're timing it right before Labor Day weekend for a reason. The news cycle moves so quickly these days that even if it's a word salad disaster by the time the MSM news cycle cranks back up post-Labor Day there will be a new more newsworthy item to cover and it'll be on the third page. Especially since the Dems are in the WH currently. The WH can do something to distract the news. Announce some price gouging plan or some bullshit. They can run cover for her if it's a disaster.

^ 1000% this trump almost got assassinated, showing tons of corruption, negligence and dei bullshit. It has been passed off as a publicity stunt, you can’t make this shit up.

Probable questions

VP Harris, how important is it for you not only to be the first woman president, but also the first black president, and the first Indian president?

What do the people not understand about how much you have moved the country forward in almost every regard in the last 4 years?

VP Harris, please tell us about how amazing your running mate is?

Gov. Walz, please tell us about how amazing VP Harris is?

To either of you or both, just how evil is Donald Trump?

VP Harris, many people are saying that Trump will force women into alleys with coat hangers. Why would he do that to people?

After Mr. Trump remotely killed the immigration bill that was the strongest in history, please explain how you are going to finally get the border "under control" as the Republican repeatedly charge, without evidence, that is has been over your term.

Gov. Tim, the term American's Coach has been used to describe you. Just how are you so "real" and cuddly which makes everyone love you?

Gov. Coach, we all know that republicans and MAGA want to create second class citizens of women by taking away their medical rights, banning contraceptives and having them humiliated during their menstrual periods in which some may call being "unclean". Talk about how "weird" they are if you would.

Gov. Cuddles, as the republican assault on women continues, please talk about how amazing and compassionate it was to make sure every girl in public schools has access to feminine products. If you would sir, also discuss the amazing inclusion that you modeled by including boys in this historic access.

To both of you, many people have said that too many parents believe that they alone should have rights and decision making power over their children. That somehow, the State shouldn't also be an equal partner at the table. MAGA has demonstrated this over and over with wishes of firebombing school boards meetings, censoring access to information that perfectly honorable pedophiles have recommended for school libraries of children as young as 5, and having hissy fits about giving their children hormone blocking drugs or removing their penis or breasts.
Why is it that MAGA parents hate their children?

------------------------------

Thank you both for your precious time as you you fight to save America and its democracy. Thanks you NPCs out there for tuning in for your new programming.

Trump has a bad habit of rambling on, but the questions always get answered. He doesn't need a handler for an interview.

For the Dems to demand that she has a spotter, means that they believe she is truly stupid and isn't capable of remembering the lies she's telling on the stump.

Just heard on the news that she they is are doing the interview now. It's 1332 right now. That leaves a lot of time for the editing room to work their magic.

Propping up senile Biden essentially proves they're just looking for a vacant rubber stamp.

Kamala is their perfect candidate. She's the dream. She checks a ton of identity politics boxes and stands for nothing. She doesn't care about anything, she just wants titles and prestige.

How much does the media covering for her even matter at this point. The people who suddenly think she's great are the same idiots who believed Biden wasn't mentally compromised are the same idiots that were going to vote for anyone with a D next to their name anyway. I really don't think staged interviews or rigged debates are going to do anything to provide any meaningful change in her behavior.

You hold elections today and I don't think there's any meaningful difference between today and November aside from something insane happening like one of them dropping dead or Trump outright calling her the N word on camera.

Dumbasses are not suddenly going to not be dumbasses by Nov.

Evidently it matters a lot. A lot more than I honestly thought at this point. The majority of folks honestly just aren't very tuned in or informed. Oh, they're saying she's great? Well, okay. She must be great.bill vote for her then!

How many people do you actually know that are excited about her? How much campaign stuff have you seen in your area popping up? Bumper stickers, yard signs, etc. The media hype and whatnot is certainly there, I just don't think that's carrying over into the real world anywhere near as much as they want you to believe.

Never underestimate the ability of Democrats to fall in line and do what they're told by their party.

Any other year, sure, but this election is unique in a lot of ways. People know what they're getting with both these candidates which is rare. Factor in the assassination attempt, major recent former Dem endorsements, RFK only pulling out of states where it helps Trump, record numbers of blacks and hispanics pissed off at the party, especially in major cities like Chicago and NYC. It's hard to say and all we can really do is speculate.

I do think there's a significant euphoria among Dems not so much for Kamala but a relief that Biden is out. They're just painting Kamala as what they want her to be and she's being significantly vague enough to allow them to do that. Pretty much the only policy positions she's laid out is being against everything she actually espoused in 2019.

Fair point, but I personally still don't think that's enough to swing the election and how much of that is going to last through November. Can she actually make it 70ish more days without sticking her foot in her mouth and reminding people how stupid and worthless she is? Interviews are one thing, debates are an entirely different animal.

It doesn't have to be all that prevalent to swing an election. Just a five point swing is massive and will swing most elections. Just five out of every hundred people saying "Yeah, Biden sucked and so does she but she's not senile and she's not Trump so yeah, I guess..."

I think a lot of blacks and mexicans are a step or two off the porch when it comes to falling in line this time.

You know what else that tells me? That race relations are no where near what the left wants everyone to believe.

The Democrates are overestimating the grip they have. After being full of shit for decades, kind of have to expect folks to start saying "Shut up stupid".

And therein lies the problem. You're assuming it's a close race based on current polling where I think the current polling is meaningless manipulated bullshit and in reality the race is nowhere near as close as they say it is. Either of us could be wrong.

Like I said in another thread, even the polling being intentionally manipulated aside, I think a sizeable portion of the country is just going to hold their nose, vote Trump, and never tell their friends, family, etc let alone admit it in polling.
