The other thing is, it doesn’t matter what she says… The press will make the story the fact that she did the interview. It won’t cover the content of the interview. And it definitely won’t be critical of any performance. It’ll all be about the courage to do the interview. It's pretty fucking hilarious in her first "real" interview it isn't a solo appearance. They're very obviously trying to hide her from any unscripted moments as much as they possibly can. They almost certainly already know the questions that are going to be asked and Walz is there to run interference if there's any off-script follow up questions so that word salad doesn't happen.
They're timing it right before Labor Day weekend for a reason. The news cycle moves so quickly these days that even if it's a word salad disaster by the time the MSM news cycle cranks back up post-Labor Day there will be a new more newsworthy item to cover and it'll be on the third page. Especially since the Dems are in the WH currently. The WH can do something to distract the news. Announce some price gouging plan or some bullshit. They can run cover for her if it's a disaster. The other thing is, it doesn’t matter what she says… The press will make the story the fact that she did the interview. There will be no negative or critical coverage. That’s not one of their fears at all.

Propping up senile Biden essentially proves they're just looking for a vacant rubber stamp.Trump has a bad habit of rambling on, but the questions always get answered. He doesn't need a handler for an interview.
For the Dems to demand that she has a spotter, means that they believe she is truly stupid and isn't capable of remembering the lies she's telling on the stump.
Just heard on the news thatshetheyisare doing the interview now. It's 1332 right now. That leaves a lot of time for the editing room to work their magic.
Dumbasses are not suddenly going to not be dumbasses by Nov.How much does the media covering for her even matter at this point. The people who suddenly think she's great are the same idiots who believed Biden wasn't mentally compromised are the same idiots that were going to vote for anyone with a D next to their name anyway. I really don't think staged interviews or rigged debates are going to do anything to provide any meaningful change in her behavior.
You hold elections today and I don't think there's any meaningful difference between today and November aside from something insane happening like one of them dropping dead or Trump outright calling her the N word on camera.
Evidently it matters a lot. A lot more than I honestly thought at this point. The majority of folks honestly just aren't very tuned in or informed. Oh, they're saying she's great? Well, okay. She must be great.bill vote for her then! How much does the media covering for her even matter at this point. People want the media to admit the unbiased truth just once.Dumbasses are not suddenly going to not be dumbasses by Nov.
How many people do you actually know that are excited about her? How much campaign stuff have you seen in your area popping up? Bumper stickers, yard signs, etc. The media hype and whatnot is certainly there, I just don't think that's carrying over into the real world anywhere near as much as they want you to believe.Evidently it matters a lot. I think only a small segment of the population actually does. The rest either don't care or assume it's the truth.People want the media to admit the unbiased truth just once.
They are seeking validation.
Never underestimate the ability of Democrats to fall in line and do what they're told by their party. How many people do you actually know that are excited about her? Any other year, sure, but this election is unique in a lot of ways. People know what they're getting with both these candidates which is rare. Factor in the assassination attempt, major recent former Dem endorsements, RFK only pulling out of states where it helps Trump, record numbers of blacks and hispanics pissed off at the party, especially in major cities like Chicago and NYC. It's hard to say and all we can really do is speculate.Never underestimate the ability of Democrats to fall in line and do what they're told by their party.
I do think there's a significant euphoria among Dems not so much for Kamala but a relief that Biden is out. They're just painting Kamala as what they want her to be and she's being significantly vague enough to allow them to do that. Pretty much the only policy positions she's laid out is being against everything she actually espoused in 2019.Any other year, sure, but this election is unique in a lot of ways. Fair point, but I personally still don't think that's enough to swing the election and how much of that is going to last through November. Can she actually make it 70ish more days without sticking her foot in her mouth and reminding people how stupid and worthless she is? Interviews are one thing, debates are an entirely different animal.I do think there's a significant euphoria among Dems not so much for Kamala but a relief that Biden is out. It doesn't have to be all that prevalent to swing an election. Just a five point swing is massive and will swing most elections. Just five out of every hundred people saying "Yeah, Biden sucked and so does she but she's not senile and she's not Trump so yeah, I guess..."Fair point, but I personally still don't think that's enough to swing the election and how much of that is going to last through November. And therein lies the problem. You're assuming it's a close race based on current polling where I think the current polling is meaningless manipulated bullshit and in reality the race is nowhere near as close as they say it is.
