If I were the parents and had any shred of decency I'd want them to prove he shot anybody, prove who he was or wasn't in contact with, prove what the .gov knew about him in advance, etc, etc, and prove all that shit in the open in court on the public record.

It wasn't my intention to come off as defensive, but it did look like you were moving the goal posts a bit when you changed the conversation from "top end" to "prestigious".

I think I'm more curious to know if someone had done the research and found that people like the Cooks wouldn't be able to afford a lawyer like that, or if they're just really expensive and the Cooks are just feeling the hurt from paying a lot.

If it's the former scenario, there's some funny business going on.

I think this is the first time I've heard it floated that Epstein is alive. You'd think he'd try to get Ghislaine Maxwell out of that were the case.
