Here's one with a twist.

Police said a man found dead during an attempt to serve a sexual abuse warrant in Dubuque was a teacher at a local school.
Trent A. Paschal, 25, of 955 Washington St., was a teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and was involved in a sexual relationship with a Dubuque Community School District student who was under the age of 15, according to Dubuque police.
A press release states that police were notified at approximately noon on May 31 of allegations against Paschal.

Police school resource officers and Criminal Investigation Division investigators promptly conducted interviews, the release states.

“During these interviews, officers learned Paschal and the student exchanged text messages and Snapchats of a sexual nature,” the release states. “It was also learned that on two occasions Paschal had picked up the student from the student’s neighborhood, then gone back to his residence where the two engaged in sex acts.”
Police reviewed traffic and surveillance camera footage showing Paschal picking up the student just before midnight on May 27, the release states. The footage shows the two driving to Paschal’s apartment and them both entering and leaving Paschal’s apartment together, the release states.

Police said they obtained forensic evidence corroborating the allegations of sexual contact between Paschal and the student.
An arrest warrant was issued on June 12 on two counts of third-degree sexual abuse.

Police were attempting to serve Paschal the warrant at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at his apartment when officers heard a gunshot from inside the apartment.
“After further attempts to speak with Paschal were unsuccessful, officers entered Paschal’s apartment and he was located deceased by an apparent self-inflicted gunshot,” the release states.
