As some of you know, I cut a tire last weekend. Now I'm shopping for 33s or 35s. Most of the riding is east coast slop but I'm street legal in WV so it sees some blacktop time. What is everyone running?

those are in the running for sure as well as a couple other styles from System 3.I really like my system 3 RC500 (non sticky). They are pretty true to size for a 33 and not overly heavy. Smooth on hard road decent in mud, great in ruts.
I think the RC stands for Rock Chucker though because they do fling rocks on gravel roads. I really wanted an aggressive sidewall and they are very trepador-ish. There are sooooo many good tire options out there.

any reason you didnt jump to 35s? ive been going back and forth with it. your terrain is likely very similar to mine. in my head going to 35s opens up a can of worms with clutching and axlesI waffled a lot on a few of the system 3's.
I almost went with the XC450's and also considered the RT320 because they are light for a 33. The "round" profile ultimately turned me off of the RT320.
Shoot I might try the XC450 next time. I also like the look of the HiLIfter Roctane but they are very heavy.

I went back and forth on it 33 vs 35. In the end i decided on 33s because they are lighter and easier on parts in theory. I figured if i put 35's on it I would try double blacks and that is not what we got the krx for. I tried being honest with myself for a change and keep it mildany reason you didnt jump to 35s? ive been going back and forth with it. your terrain is likely very similar to mine. in my head going to 35s opens up a can of worms with clutching and axles
Plus he is in WV and has been in the clutch game for a long long time. His materials and coatings are well thought out. I may try a secondary spring next mainly because i cant leave **** alone. thats exactly what he is going, getting the belt to ride up on the last inch that it normally doesnt. The trash talking wears me out lol. I’m in the same opinion. Anyone who has any mechanical knowledge can figure that out by looking at it once. It seems he’s got the best weight material and coating. I’ll probably go with his stuff. Cornell claims reduction along with increased top speed. I think they make the belt ride higher on the sheaves to get the extra top speed
I’d give them a try if you do lolThe highschool style rants get annoying. Before work got so busy, I had planned on designing up some clutch weights just to stir the pot. Pretty sure I could use some fancy coatings to improve the current offerings???
