Another reason to never let police into your home. Shot over a pot of boiling water. Video is in link. I say not justified and glad he’s being charged.

WTF, I wonder why everyone thinks that these assholes are assholes :shaking:.
Yeah his monologue of justification after really sealed it for me

“Look it’s almost reached us” as it slowly spills across the floor

Isnt it required they provide aid regardless of if it’s a lost cause until the EMT unit gets there?

My sister in law works at a restaurant and mops the floor with water she boils, who knows what her intentions were for the water.

I have no idea.

As far as it seems she never tried to throw it or really advance towards the guy. It was only on the floor because she cowered downward and away from the guy closing the distance on her with a pistol while she said “I’m sorry”.

This shooting bothers me more than some of the other ones have. It’s almost like a scene out of an exorcist movie where the possessed just snaps out of anger for bringing up Jesus.

She was obviously having some troubles, and fear was probably a driver to some of them. Those two have no business dealing with the public.

How the fuck is "I swear to God I'll shoot you in the fucking face" an acceptable thing a cop should ever fucking say?
I am not an attorney, that is evidence of premeditation isn't it
of course for those without the blanket holy power of qualified immunity

My question is WHY did they do an entry?

There was NO reason other than they asked to. The whole scenario was provoked by the police. Never mind the fact they overstepped prior to shooting her. The shooter needs to face a jury, but alas... qualified immunity to the rescue. Hopefully it won't result in that way, but I have blue line doubts now days.

Clearly murder, not that it will be enough to do anything to them. Even when it's blatant on camera they end up walking.

They murdered that kid in the hotel in Reno a few years ago for literally no reason and the fucker that shot got reinstated with back pay, a huge settlement, and the state ended up having to pay him all kinds of money for PTSD therapy for "making" him "have" to shoot someone. :shaking:

Just like teachers, police unions are a huge part of the problem. They fight tooth and nail to make sure bad cops end up back in the position for something like this to happen.

They tricked her with the old we need to see ID gig. Which in my state and many others is only necessary if you’ve been suspected of committing a crime, which she had not. People feel uncomfortable saying no when asked and they know that. Since they asked and she said yes it’s game on.

Yah I watched it again. Scum bags... the lot of em.

Local to me. I think he’s doomed. He took at least 4 steps forward. I do think she threw it (I watched it in slow mo), but he came forward gun drawn. I have heard she was a frequent caller of the police.

Looks like she actually did throw it or tried to. Photo below she’s actually going down but pot comes up and forward. Hard to Monday morning quarter back but guy most likely could have just stepped back or exited or just left her alone and gone to the next call 5 minutes earlier
