It’s a big hex nut. I bought the a horrible fright fan clutch remover kit that you use your arm hammer with.

I’m just sick of double secret locks on electrical connectors.
 
In. Still RP 5 in the district, so still working 7 days a week. I think overall I've had 4 days off work in June. I've got a month's worth of comp time built up though so whenever we get enough rain to end this I'll be going sailing or working on the 70 chevy truck or something for quite a while without touching vacation or sick time :smokin:
The district is in a huge drought and has a big fire out by the coast that sparked off this whole RP 5 thing, but my county that i work in hasn't had much happening, so I've gotten good at playing rummy and cribbage and solitaire lately lol. I ordered a backgammon set and a yahtzee game to have something ot do because we've cleaned and organized everything we can think of to clean or organize to pass the time, and no grass to mow because it's all dead.

C’mon, I got the opportunity to buy another tool…. I was sweat soaked from head to toe by 10:30 ams had had enough already. I just need to have the truck running by Tuesday, and my diesel mechanic buddy is on speed dial when he gets back in town on Monday…. lol.

never been able to get them loose with gentle force, the belt just slips (even on ford diesels where they're driving off the ribbed side of the belt)
every one needs some beating

I got one off of my chevy like I described and I think a dodge too. But they were pretty replaced before.

Got kiddo moved into her new townhouse...eleventy billion trips up the stairs later, I'm whooped :homer:
Gonna be interesting for her, 6 room mates! She has her own room, which is now full..:laughing:. Met some of the other kids, all seem nice, which made me feel better. Girly is growin' up :eek:

Only thing I can think of is to slide a vinyl plank under between the flashing and asphalt shingles to raise it up a little and get rid of the depression that’s filing up with leaves and oat flowers from the oak trees .

In. Turned 46 today.
It was around 99* today so I kept my butt home.

Just earlier I grilled a steak and some asparagus.

Now got the load of laundry going...

Soon I need to get working on my moms '11 Impala. It has a power steering leak, it does not look like it is coming from power steering pump - likely line is rubbed somewhere and has a pinhole leak. That will be fun:homer:
Driver power seat needs repair as well.

Need to go through my F250 driver side repairs.
Back from the body shop and I want to give it a look see.

Time to find a movie, perhaps a shot of good whiskey is calling out to me:laughing:
 
Checking in.

I got back from Chico a couple hours ago. Caltrans has been working on their “Fix 50” project for years, now they’re screwing up 5 just north of Sacramento, what a cluster :shaking:.

The kid has a new apartment, and new roommate. They have been friends for a while so it’s just a matter of figuring out coexisting. We hung out, I did “Dad stuff” like hanging shelves, mirrors, plant hooks, etc…

Working on a second beverage now. I need to figure out food, then a shower.

Tomorrow is going to be a sleep in day, and run to town for a few things… maybe :homer:

I'm cranky, aint sleeping with all these broken bones, fighting with wife, just beat the shit outtah one of the dogs and had to shoot my cat.

At least the doc cut my painkillers off and I'm in a lot more pain now.

The only good thing is its pouring rain for the first time in months. One of the baddest assed lighting shows I've seen in years.
 
Yardwork today. Then the kid and his buddies will be pressure washing the walks/driveway tomorrow.

Otherwise....pretty easy day, except catching up on some freelance client billing.

Yeah, all of that sounds like it sucks. Sorry about your cat, it's always hard having to put your own animals down.
I've never broken a rib so I really don't know but it seems like you are taking a long time to heal, I assume that you have been back to the doctor to see how it's going?

Ribs suck. Nothing you can do but deal with it. This is my 3rd go-round. 1st time with 7 of em though. :laughing: 1st time with a collarbone, apparently same thing, try not to move or sneeze and deal with it. Ribs have in the past started feeling pretty okish around week 4. We're on week 4 now and i just fucked everything beating the shit outtah that dog.

No checkup until end of Aug.

I sneezed for the first time yesterday. It went better than anticipated. :laughing:

Kept it low profile, at this point in time I am not needing much/celebrations are for kids...

What I told a friend yesterday, he wanted to treat me to a dinner/get together. He has a 4 month old son, told him that is his focus now.

I ever end up in Nor Cal I will be in touch, got to hear some Wookie tales:laughing:

Storm still going on here, not much thunder now, but I had one that shook the place earlier
I hadn't heard you had been hurt, ribs are a MF I had a choice of falling backwards into a 20 foot concrete pit or forward onto the fiberglass fence that I was climbing over and seperated some of the floating ribs, made pulling wire a real pain, and lets not even talk about coffing!
Sorry to hear about the cat
