In. worked from 10 this morning til 7:30 tonight cus we're on RP 5 still. Went and plowed a fire near Stokes NC, which we jokingly refer to as the center of the universe at the county office. Pretty much all the forestry stuff we do, and alot of the fire stuff we do, is always around Stokes. The fire was mid day though, so didn't effect when we got released today. Onslow county changed that. They got a pretty big fire late in the day today, and that county is pretty rural and a whole lot of woods, so they've been run ragged this week with the high fire danger. We were all held to help cover them if yet again they had another fire light off while fighting one already.
Learned to play cribbage today in the office, and tomorrow if i remember before i go in i might take my old train/slot car set to work that i recently got back from dad just to see if it works, and also cus the young county ranger doesn't know what a slot car track is :shaking:

In, food beer supertroopers2 bed.

dissected ranger #2 today, pulled the trans 3 weeks ago guy still hasn’t picked it up, fucking ranger guys. Need to start mocking an air pump onto the 2.3 on the stand.

found a drop in bedliner on the side of the freeway, prolly shouldn't have stopped to get it, but it'll come in handy for something

Sold a ranger to a guy, drove it on a trailer, bed liner in the bed. He gets home and it was gone.

Got Tinkercad downloaded on the youngest's chromebook. Now to wait days for the permission form stuff.

Kinda finally in. Did stuff around the house, attempted to build an easel out of scrap lumber and gave it my best effort using the wrong tools, cleaned up then went back to trying to fix my 10 month old upright “frost free” freezer. Temperature alarm isn’t going off, but a light is blinking, and it isn’t cooling. Hopefully knocking a bunch of ice off the temperature probe and radiator is the solution. I don’t know why it is called frost free. There was more frost on the radiator than anywhere else, and I am curious to know how it could somehow defrost this without thawing everything in the freezer. Maybe some smart feature where it pumps hot liquid through the radiator for an hour to let everything melt…but that obviously doesn’t work.

Might have to go out of state for one of those. California most likely requires background check, registration, and blood sample just to buy the ammo.
I know a guy with a gun show loop hole. The problem now is they switched from the blood sample to a stool sample. If my red meat protein levels are too high I’m screwed. Then there is the issue with soy/tofu :shaking:

Freezer is fucked. It’s been running 5 hours and isn’t any colder than 25 degrees. Online reviews are now saying this happens a lot, and the company pretty much doesn’t do anything about it, or the repairs don’t fix it. 🤬

I don’t think it is something I can fix either. I think it’s the compressor not being able to cool enough. I don’t know why that would happen, but it’s all I can think of happening in a freezer that isn’t freezing enough.

Worked all night. Why cant people behave. Some asshole broke a tablet. They can use it to order commissary, have visits, movies and music, sweet shit my jail offers fer some reason. I hate cutting paper and he got extra charges because of said assholeness. Another set of jackwagons thought banging and yelling after lockdown was a great idea. This was my monday.

Compressor kicks on.
Fan spins. Most of this unit has ice build up around the fan.
It runs all night and doesn’t get colder than 30F.
The coils in the back get cold.
Compressor is warm just like the freezer next to it (previously used as a fridge, now sitting at under 20F).

I really don’t know what information I have as to what the fix would be. I’m unable to detect a leak in refrigerant (probably not the issue) and the potentiometer/rheostat/temp controller works enough to turn the unit off when I turn it to off.

What make and model?

There are 3 common issues as to why you may be experiencing a defrosting issue with your freezer. A faulty defrost timer, a defective defrost heater and a defective thermostat. Any frost-free refrigerator has a defrost system that controls the cooling and defrost cycle.

1st thing is to get the ice off the coils completely and dry it up good with your womans hair dryer, plug it back in and let it run an hour or two before you refill it, you did put all the frozen food into coolers right? Then let it run a good 12 hours and check temp.

Check your door seal really good, mine had a little tear in it and after I replaced it I had no more icing issues like you do, before I found that tear I was doing the above every 4 or 5 months.
