What's new

Snlc

While we were at Harbor Freight Mrs spotted the electric fly swatters, so we bought one. I just put batteries in it and handed it to her. She messed with it a bit then…

She quickly set it down and said, “It works!!!” :lmao:

We've got a couple without the extra safety webbing in them. Fucker will burn whatever flesh you stick in there lol

Well fuck....😕

Definately leaking tho...🤣

What is this?

In, until the sun drops behind our hill 🥵

We went to brunch then ran errands in town. When we got home I installed an adjustable keyboard tray on Mrs desk so it fits her better ergonomically.

I think we’re going to have big fat cheeseburgers again. It’s too hot to cook inside, and we have all of the ingredients to make them (plus stuff is to expensive to let it spoil).

Later I might go out on the back deck and clean the lights, they look rough. I’m guessing we are in some kind of migratory lane. We have different birds come in, build a nest, raise the babies then they’re gone. We currently have a bunch of starlings(?) shitting all over everything. I’m thinking about breaking out the pressure washer tomorrow.

I think it’s time for a beverage :grinpimp:

Oh… did I mention it’s hot?

My hottest day in Sac was 113 or 115. Remeber a co-workers shoe sepersting the sole from the shoe when it stuck to the roof we were on. Probably around '99. I don't miss it one bit.

Spent the morning puttering in the garage, then finally got my sprinkler system going. We’ve been considering selling our little Boston Whaler for a different one. Went to look at a couple and decided we are better off putting some upgrades on the current one.
Went to dinner with neighbors. Now sitting outside enjoying the evening.

Mowed the lawn, got the transmission back in the rzr, and ripped around the neighborhood. Started fab ing up a mount for spare tire on it. Fixed the wifeys bicycle and the garden hose reel, and now plopped on the couch watching some things print on the 3D printer. She’s making something for dinner, but neither of us seemed to interested right now. It’s the first real hot day here, 92 by our thermometer.

Tried to leave around 5 this AM so I could get south early to do some work. Garage door wouldn’t close for some reason, so after monkeying with that for 10 mins I unlatched it and slid it shut. Got back home this afternoon and fixed it. Then did some more work and went swimming with the family at the in-laws. Trying to get the kids ready for bed now and get ready for more work tomorrow.

Update, shot two flies with the bug asalt.
I prefer the stealth shots but find myself unloading every now and then wild west style, took a wasp out of midair earlier. Took 6 shots (I was counting because knew it was not a full 'mag') but I got him. Swear it knew I was after it! Stupid gun is horribly addicting and satisfying.

I mostly kill spiders with it.

I woke my wife up with it the other day.

Pepper works good in that one (at least around here were it is humid) CO2 power turns them into mist, I have spider kill 'spots' all over outside I need to power wash off ha

Spent most of the day installing a mini split in the GF's garage. Della 18K BTU off Amazon. Amazon.com

All afternoon was spent in the afternoon sun... What a stupid idea.

Anyway, lineset was 13' and I needed 12".

Mounted the condenser 4' up the outside wall, which is when I found out the exterior walls had no insulation.

Pulled a vacuum and it held for 30 minutes, will check again tomorrow while I do the main power hookup.

Sitting here trying to re-hydrate...

In,

Drove 200 miles to a wedding today, and got 10 miles away before I realized I didn’t have my phone/gps. Oh well, I found the place since it’s right off the road. It was a really nice service and the reception was at Elliot Sadlers barn! No racecars anywhere, but the Camaro definitely drifted the back roads on the way out!! :smokin:
