School me on Electric fences

Is there a sizable Haitian community near your area?

If not, here is a good sizing chart to help you select the proper tool for the job. :smokin:

In the early 1900’s there was a guy named Tom Horn that would hire out on ranches and take care of problems like this in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming

They hung him downtown Cheyenne though so maybe not that great of idea:flipoff2:

Sounds like everything's been covered.

Sucks being in a "fence out" state. 😡. Fucking goats have more rights to your property than you do. TSC for the biggest charger you can buy and a bunch of good ground rods as mentioned.

Quit watering your grass.

We had goats on the property for a few years. They technically belonged to our nieces. I spent way too much of my time getting the damned things back in to our fence line, they’re damned escape artists :shaking:

I see you have experience with the rodents also. Animal control state that reg but also the person needs to maintain control of the animals which he doesn't. Im waiting for a motorcycle or car to nail them on highway 66.

Does a bigger controller give a stronger shock?

yes. Get the highest voltage controller you can. Dont pee on it.

They look like they looking for a salt lick. Get one at TS when you're picking up electrics. Huck it into your neighbor's yard.

Have one by the well but they completely avoided it.

Wait, I thought you was an enginerd.....how can you possibly have a simple solution to a problem?:flipoff2:

Soak it down and pitch it over the property line.

I'm sure we can wrangle a crew up to harvest the pests. Are they branded or tagged? Have you contacted the livestock board or just animal control?

Wish I could stomach the education system enough to be enginerd pay scale. :flipoff2: I'm just a redneck with some learning.

Talk to the neighbor and let them know you are going to start dispatching the trespassers.

Randomly go out when you know they are home and yell at the pests loud enough the neighbor can hear. Pump a round or 3 into the sand. Maybe they will get the point.

Or better yet, in the sunroof of his truck. It doesn’t even have to be open first.

It’ll take 2 or maybe 3 strands to get all of them. Some will jump, some will crawl if you put a single strand up.
A bigger charger can handle more wire. Get the one with the dead cow on fire. Fiberglass rods should push in easy enough unless you have hard pan.
Good luck.

He's got maybe 1/2" of sand covering limestone. Gonna be pounding, if not drilling, posts .

Might be easier to come take some cars outtah my junkyard, place them at the property corners and use them as anchors to stretch some wire between. 🤣

Which is absolutely a viable option if he needs. :grinpimp:
