What's new

S@W .357 trade for a 9?

Maybe I would have liked the 686 more with different grips. The GP fits me fantastic.

Between the two, I would go GP all day long.

The one I rented a few months back had standard sights. I like this ones Tritium sights.

Here

There now. Traded for a Sig 365 sas with a green dot laser, 2 magazines and a kydex holster I had to put up a little cash.

Boris retired fri. By appoint only now.
These past two years had to have been hard on him. Good dood for sure.

SAS is the wierd anti snag version right?

I don't think you got a great deal  but if that's what you wanted, then I guess it works. I've came up a lot of times but have also done deals that were just "something I don't use, for something I will" and been happy.

This version is $700 new. Minus the laser, holster and extra magazine.

My S@W was worth $700 approx.

Pretty much this. I dont carry my GP often unless outdoors due to size. I never carried my 686.

I will carry my SIG often. Carried it this afternoon while repairing the driveway for a few hours, zero issues.

I traded a tent trailer I was working on for the 686. Was asking $500 for it. I paid $200 for it. I wasnt heavily invested in the 686 financially.

$700 is probably the most expensive one listed. They're typically less.

I believe they all come with an extra mag. I got my xl for $550 with 2 extra mags and a holster.

Either way, they're great guns. If you think the grip might be too small, there are options to change to an XL grip, or a Wilson combat for pretty cheap.

They had a standard one there for mid $500. Iron sights, silver/black.

I seem to remember them being low $6s (my model) when I looked at them last year.

You'll like the trigger on that sig...much nicer than my GL 43
Maybe I should take another look at them. I tried a P320 when they first came out and I didn't like it compared to my P226's, I guess I just figured Sig sucked at the striker fired stuff.

My work supervisor has the 229 Legion. Its pretty sweet. I would like one in .357. According to him you can set it up in .40 or .357.

Don bought one...he's been on a serious buying kick ..so I got to shoot it....it took a few magazines but dam it is nice..and the 10 rounds is nice,.,iirc the 43 is still a Lil thinner

Ar far as concealed small pistols go, the p365 is hard to beat. I throw mine in either a coat pocket, or back pocket when I'm out and about. My midsized carry pistol, cz p07 rarely gets carried anymore. I shoot my p365 very well far such a small pistol.

Price out .357 sig before you make that commitment. I bought a 357 Glock whatever because the price was right and anything I could find was $1+/round. My full 9mm conversion ended up being cheaper than two boxes of ammo
I have a Glock 31C that I use in steel match on spinner stage, the extra whomp helps when the spinner is a little sticky.

Many years ago, I traded a S&W ?? 9mm for a S&W model 19 .357mag. First Mrs couldn’t cycle the semi-auto so the trade was made for the revolver.

When we divorced… the model 19, my tools, and my clothes were the only things I gave a shit about getting out of the deal. I will never give up that gun.

Just picked one up...brand new I added a Lil oil..and it did not like pmc 124 fmj ...again it's tight and brand new

Slow fire it would not seat fully about 5 to 6 times in 4 magazines...

Accurate at 7 yards..here is a pic with 47 rounds ..again Slow fire

Shot about 250 rds and it's smoother now..still hung up one time with Speer +p round..

Ended up putting 3 different fmj then some Speer GD +p

Here is some rapid fire at 15 yrds...like trigger reset sight and squeeze..so maybe 2rds a sec

Still need a slide clip for iwb carry without holster...
But I am happy that the smaller tan mag holds 12 rounds and is the same size height wise as my gl 43 with 8 rd mag.

Gonna run another 100 rds through it and it better not hang up

My glock fed everything with no issues..

South of 74 by lake pleasant highway? Still open?
Don't know what the future holds, but the glider airport/RV park/RV storage is gone, and the TSMC plant put in a big ass well right at the turnoff from Lake Pleasant Hwy. MX track is still in operation as is Cowtown.

Yup. Be there later today for some zero time, and tomorrow for some 1k shooting.

I was at Church Camp road to try out new rifles today for brief time. Should able swing by there tomorrow, what time?

I figured with homes and plant being built would've affected it. Bummer.

You should grab a 17 rnd macro mag just cause, it's barely bigger than the 15 if at all.
