RTF is literally paving over obstacles on the Rubicon

:stirthepot:

We might be able to get RTF to setup a trashcan @tahoma for us...
I'm in to run point if we get enough interest. :usa:
it is a great idea and worthy of seeing if there is interest.
as mentioned above, in general I do not think the trash is as much an issue it used to be 20 years ago (the trail would be closed if it was)

not sure if I would be able to help in that area.
I have lots of commitments for trash off of MET several times a year.
I also have a boat that burned and a car to cut up and remove.

this is a typical load we do 2-3 times each year

Thank you for keeping the Sierras clean for everyone else, I'm down to help on the next run if I'm free.

Also maybe we could focus this energy on Fordyce, cause everyone thinks of the rubicon for helping more than Fordyce from my experience.

To those that have an issue with the work that was done.
What have you done to keep this trail, or any trail in the area open?
No shit. Lot of blah blah, little show with the internet.

To the people complaining, is this particular spot one of you goals and destinations out there?
Do you specifically think of this spot before you leave and get excited about reaching this spot or something?

Odd.. I just 2 minutes ago had a conversation with a coworker about the old poo clean ups.

So did we confirm if they are literally paving over obstacles at the Rubicon or figuratively doing so?

maybe spiritually they are?
Yes. The Peterbilt is hauling in another 22 ton of hot rocks and they’ve got the old Lee boy paver making a pass. Had some trouble with the roller earlier though. Later they’re heading out to Glamis to pave all that pesky sand
