The Snake's '70 Cuda funny car on the back of a '67 Dodge D700 hauler. This is a later pic as the terrible roof spoiler is gone and the Mattel seal is the newer version.

Yep that’s the one. I was born in Vernal. Diamond mountain area was our over the counter elk hunting grounds when I was a kid before they changed the area’s around.

I must get it from my grandpa and my father. Money isn’t worth much to us. Grandpa doesn’t need $250k, he needs to drive across the country in that bus once a year and spend a week at a mega truck show with it. Having someone offer him money for it that he gets to refuse is worth more to him than the cash.

I spent some time at the El Paso/Kinder Morgan Diamond Mountain compressor site probably around 2012.
Still have friends in Dutch John.

191 between Vernal and Rock Springs is the most weather beaten two lane road in the lower 48 that they try to keep open in the winter.
 
Probably has a little shifter by the driver side trans tunnel under the seat and the knob in the glove box.

Its also a J20 not a J4000

Also, to contribute, my coworkers uncle built this thing. It's probably kinda hack fab, but is pretty cool in a redneck way. Has a bunch of different heavy equipment parts and is powered by a 6v53 :smokin:

Isn't he the dude that does damn near everything barefoot? Including welding/fab? I seem to remember following his antics on the facebook when I had one.
