Hey Greeeeeeeeeeeg#! So, I stay in Holiday Inns when I’m traveling and try to get showers in my rooms because. Well, they’re not great at keeping the water in the shower base without it draining out onto the floor most times. It’s not me as I don’t direct water over on that side of the shower.

So they know it’s an issue probably from someone slipping as these aren’t the best non skid floor tiles for a room like this. They busted the floor up near the shower and installed a floor drain to fix their design fawk up.

Anyway, it looks like they used the broken up floor tiles to scatter around the new floor drain install. My question is, do they or you, smooth the edges of the pieces off before using them and if so, what are you using to smooth the edge down with?

If that were my job I would…. Diamond wet/dry pads on a variable speed grinder.
The contractors doing holiday inn’s wouldn’t!!!!!

the question came up in my head when I was setting on the shitter looking at this mess. I’ve seen broken pieces of tile in jobs before and wondered about it.

This was a crappy job for sure. Look closely and you’ll see the broken pieces have stress cracks in them too.

Nothing I'm an this site for, but it's refined coal (coke), sold as fuel to steel mills and such. The ovens burn off impurities.
