Portugal decriminalizing drugs

I love watching the big, bad freedom lovers melt like snowflakes and beg the gubment to save them from the pot smoking junkies. :lmao:
I care less if you wanna smoke pot honestly, but I do get a kick out of dopers not being able to get a good job due to not passing a drug screen. :homer::laughing: Life has consequences with stuff like that.

I don’t think it’s right for dopers to be on welfare either. Why are my tax dollars paying to support crap like that? It’s different if the person has true mental health illness though. They should receive help.

And the wine.
Napa has been making wine for 100 years
The Portuguese and their neighbors been making wine for 1500 years

Good wine is cheeper then pop! Dang...people I knew always had bad ass wine cellers. I knew a girl that worked for Cockburns; dang did she have some nice grapes! :smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin:

Heard that too, haven't really seen anything negative about bums from the research I did a couple years ago when we were going to take a trip there.

Generally on my two trips to Europe I didn't really see bins around. Your see a few obvious junky bums, but no encampments and none were as far gone as you see in bigger cities here. You did see junkies hanging around, Brussels was pretty sketchy. Surprisingly the train station in rural Norway was an area where there were a lot of junkies and definitely put me on edge.
Go to smaller towns for bums. Towns are closer together and cities are tightly controlled, bums are a rural problem in Europe rather than city problem in US.

They have the wine making locked down along with awesome food. I'm not big on wine, but they have that figured out. I spent a week out there about a year ago with locals from Porto as my guide. The Sandeman vineyard tour was awesome.

No Shit!... GF has a couple of "drifters" squating on the ranch. The old lady is a mental case because of head truma. Her son is a fucking looser pot head. The old lady gets $600 a month for food including $30 for pet food. If she were to go on SSI, that would give her another $500 or so.
I feel sorry for the women but her son can go fuck himself.... They are living in tents and out of the back of a shitty Volvo wagon. They have this nasty ass dog that has bitten the old lady at least ten times! In my book, that is a dead dog walking! GF keeps her .38 handy!
We give them our leftovers when ever we can.... (very ecletic)
But dang it....These people are costing us money! Yes there are peeps that do need some help... The old lady for one; the son can go fuck himself.:smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin:

Either Oregon hasn't figured out how to grow good weed just yet, or you are woefully misinformed. Being in Washington, where the growers had it figured out almost right out of the gate (even though state government did not), I suspect the latter.
Honestly, I think because it's legal is why it sucks. Because now it's a "business". It's grown somewhere in mass. It's packaged and put on trucks and shipped. It sits on shelves. It gets old and kinda moldy and stale. It sucks.

Back in the day, being illegal, the weed was always fresh. Bright green, sticky, with little white dots all over it. It was pure green in color. These days, it's like a yellowish green. And it smells old, smells like it was put into a bag too soon with too much moisture that just ruined it. Not crisp, not good, smells like shit, etc.

Kids these days will never know the awesomeness of the true clean green bud of the 80s and 90s.

Some people wish to childproof the world when they should be worldproofing their kids.
That's a catchy line we're all heard before.

But aside from you repeating it, let me ask you to think for a second answer me this.
You are world proofing your kids. So the advice you give them on what do based on the situation is as follows.

When your kids grow up, get married, and have babies. They take a vacation. They go to the beach, put down their blanket whatever and relax with their baby and their 5 year old. Then a group of disrespectful people show up and park next to them and proceed to smoke joint after joint with the weed smoke blowing to their 5 year olds face as well as their stroller with their baby. And your kid's wife is pregnant and she's breathing it in, too. It smells like shit and your son doesn't like it and doesn't like his wife and kids having it. What do you instruct your son to do in that situation?

Not even close.

Back in the days, one joint would be passed around 4 people and they all got high and then no more smoking for at least an hour or two.
These days, they smoke joint after joint like it just does not work.

WtactualF are you talking about. I was listening to an old hippy miss the old 0% moisture bricks that were half stems and seeds. You could roll a cigar and have a Mellow high all night, instead of this new super stuff. Maybe your tolerance is too high.

If you want it to be real wild west, don't arrest me when I choke the shit out of these junkies for getting stoned near my kids.
You can (and did) experiment and get high, but your kids can’t? Hypocrite.

It's funny how weed somehow gets a bad rap when alcohol is the far worse substance for its societal impact.

I have quite a few pothead and alcoholic friends. There is no comparison in how much destruction those two bring.

Look, it's another topic you haven't got a clue about.

I will say the weed being sold in dispensarys in NM today is much better than anything I had access to as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s. It is much more potent and is not all stems and seeds.

Yeah but you can't SMELL it in public.:homer:

Love how that's somehow justification for banning it and going back to throwing people in jail over a fucking plant. Can we do the same thing to people who don't wear deodorant or people who wear too much shitty cologne/perfume?

Jesus fucking Christ, even Artisan isn't this retarded.

Get up and move his gaggle of shit to another area of beach. It's a public beach, and there's a lot of it. Same as it would be if some drunks came over and started making a ruckus. Or some ethnics came over blasting their shit music. Or some dots who tend to not shower or bring a picnic basket full of curry.

Fuckin move.

The white dots weren't good.
Probably mold, mildew or eggs.
And we just had some shit test at 35% THC, in a lab.
Most product is harvested and in a retail store in less than two weeks. You think the bricks from mexico are that fresh?

Find a better weed store.

The fundamental reality that makes things complicated is that there's a huge overlap between the quality and outcomes of one hypothetical person's sober behavior and the quality and outcomes another hypothetical person's drunk or high behavior.

Until people get ok with making value judgements the situation is going to be weird and rife with inconsistencies

Yep, I was right.

I dunno what you smoked, but you're now in opposite land. Congrats!

It's almost like blanket policies are bad and do nothing to address situations with any sort of nuance.

My girl has been smoking weed for the better part of the last 30 years. I brought home some from my local dispensary last week that she says is some of the best she's ever had.

Funny thing is she's been doing it for so long that the legal part kind of freaks her out, she's so used to hiding it while driving or having to set up a time to get it from a dealer etc that when I just walk into the dispensary and wave at the cops & security on the way out with a few eighths and a bunch of edibles I have to remind her that this is one type of 'new normal'.

Edit: just about everything I've ever gotten from my local dispensary has been grown/made/processed within a radius of less than 50 miles from the store.

I have a couple buddies like that. They say its just not right goin into the store and buying it.:lmao:
