around 11K in cement blocks. building a retaining wall for someone.

How many trips is that going to take?

Sometimes it makes more sense to have a dump truck and trailer haul 3-4x's as many in one load and spend your time building the wall instead of a bunch of trips.

Obviously I don't know the situation at all, but this is the internet, so you have to expect wild speculation and criticism :flipoff2:

yeah the last job we had a semi delivering 20 at a time but this time it didn't work out. its up a very steep long driveway, it would take all day to track them up.

Nice combo, 19.5’ box?

I'm not sure, I only hop in it every now and then. I do know it's way too long to be able to fill with dirt/sand/gravel without way overloading the front, so 90% of the time it's more of a hindrance.

But for the random load of demo or mulch it's nice

New toy. Bigger toy.

Nvr-enough , thats a clean Ford. :smokin:

Thanks man! The thing is painfully nice/original. I bought it from the second owner, who bought it while she was restoring an airstream and decided to abandon the idea after it didnt make any progress in 2 years. She drove the truck less than a full tank in the 2 years. First owner had a small horse ranch in the grass valley, CA area. Had ~125k miles on it when I bought it in 2022. Thing is so original it still has the stock radio, down pipe, etc. Has had seat, steering wheel and dash covers since the day it left the deal lot. I keep debating selling it before I start doing dumb stuff with it and molesting it:homer:

Couple weeks back picking up my new to me truck camper (I would have been the king of the 90s if I had this combo in 98:laughing:)-

maybe adjust the toe-in on the trailer?
Farmers adjusting toe-in on shitty old wagons?

He'll watch it waggle all over the place because that's what wagons do, especially towed in tandem.

As a bonus, it tends to keep tailgaters off ya and makes people give you a wide berth.

He's towing straw, not a kidney for granny. No reason to wanna go over 25.

Typically if a farmer can't fix it by smacking it with a hammer, then they live with it. At least with the many I've met and done work for.

And lots of baling twine too :lmao:

That is 100% accurate. Every pipe trailer I’ve towed has had mismatched tires that are half flat and likely will toss the tread in short order.
