David DePape, Paul Pelosi's attacker, called a California Fox local news station from jail on Friday and made bizarre and chilling statements that he called an "important message."

On the call, which KTVU had permission to record, DePape said "you're welcome" for the Paul Pelosi attack.

DePape faces state charges of attempted murder and elder abuse and federal charges for kidnapping after he allegedly broke into the home of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and assaulted her husband, Paul, with a hammer.

Despite saying he didn't want to jeopardize his case, DePape told KTVU he attacked Pelosi because "liberty isn't dying, it's being killed systematically and deliberately."

The "people killing it have names and addresses, so I got their names and addresses so I could pay them a little visit … have a heart-to-heart chat about their bad behavior," he asserted.

DePape also made a chilling apology for not going further.

"I want to apologize to everyone. I messed up. What I did was really bad. I'm so sorry I didn't get more of them. It's my own fault. No one else is to blame. I should have come better prepared," he said.

Or maybe dude just decided to get off the porch and start doing something about it. If that was a "script", what was said by him in that interview isn't even a little bit false. We all think what he said, but do nothing to fix the problem. If more people took action this country would be much better off.
 
It looks like Pelosi was trying to humor the guy and calm him down while discreetly calling the cops.

They both were drunk or high. They were not necessarily getting drunk or high together. The video doesn’t seem to clarify whether they knew eachother

Dude clearly broke in and like posted above, pelosi was probably doing everything in his power to keep dude from snapping.

Complete opposite of what I thought actually happened based on the way information was being released.

Actually, you do the exact same thing, every time.

Post a source that validates your claim. As soon as your source is proven to be completely bias, with no credibility, you claim that you were only posting it to share the story and that “you’ll not make a judgement call until all the details are released”.

You then say stupid shit about ignorance, scotus and how the person calling you out is wrong and that you’re never wrong.

I still think Pelosi is hammered, just by the stuporous look on his face. Maybe its alcohol, maybe he takes sleeping pills, maybe both. Otherwise he would have heard DePape breaking into the house. That had to have made a lot of noise. He's also standing there not saying a word, waiting for the police to act, with DePape doing the same thing. The police are standing there thinking what the fuck is going on here, they don't want to make a wrong move while at THIS house, so they are undecided upon how to act. Then, it all goes to shit.

DePape obviously has some mental issues. That phone call to the press proved that. He just proved his case by showing intent. Much more than a breaking and entering, he went there with the specific intent to kill or cause great harm to the Pelosi's. He thinks he's a crusader for the cause and he was just going to hang around with his new friend Paul until Nancy came home. I don't know, maybe he's a little ahead of his time, maybe he's just bat shit crazy.
