I bought a project and trying to ID the throttle pedal. I haven't been able to find anything online that matches although it's kinda similar to the Monte Carlo pedal. It's the one on the left in the first pic. Part number in the second pic? Anyone?

The pedal connector on the harness doesn't match any of the pedals I have and I didn't get any documentation for the harness with the project. Anyone know the pinouts for this connector?

You have a stock 9 Pin LS pedal.

You need a TAC module and 9 Pin wiring harness.

Aaahhh. Now I know what the black box sitting on the seat was for.

Any idea what that pedal came out of? It fits perfectly in the LJ.

looks like a Cadillac Escalade Lq9 pedal as well. Here’s my hand written scribbled notes. I ended up using an obs Chevy diesel pedal swapping two pins around. The obs pedal was easier to mount. The eBay pedal to tac harness is setup for car pedals. And to use them on factory 03-07 truck pedals you have to swap two wires e-j. The obs diesel pedal has same plug but from the car wiring you swap a-j. Works perfect. Hope this helps someone.

Good stuff :cool2:

I concur. Looks identical to my 2004 Tahoe pedal. I have my harness and module handy if you need any pictures or part numbers.

Do you have the part number for the 9 pin harness?

The one I need looks like the one in this ebay ad. From the limited research I've done GM changed the pinouts around depending on application. Not a big deal to swap them but since I need the harness anyway, might as well buy the one that fits.

Just search for pedal to tac module harness. They come in various lengths. Use my above cheat sheet to swap pins around based on what pedal you are using. They come pre wired for car pedals.

before you get too far:

figure out which generation pedal and TAC module you have, and make sure it's compatable with your PCM. there is an "early" and "late" style DBW pedal setup

your pedal looks exactly like the one I pulled out of my 2002 Escalade which is the early setup and PCM. Everything I have found is that it will not work with the later green PCM's and the only harness I could find for it was BP Automotive and $600+tax/ship

i don't know if there are visual differences between early and late DBW pedals, but something is different.

I wanted to run it. I gave up and converted to cable.

You are correct. The later pedals are different as well as pcm. He is running the older setup with external tac module and corresponding pedal. Newer style doesn’t have external tac module.

There is a visual difference in pedals and the lack of external tac module. I don’t want to confuse the op with your confusion. This info pertains to 03ish-07ish LS stuff.
