I bought a case back when prices were good thinking I'd reuse the brass considering their good reputation. It's still in the garage somewhere. Ended up buying a couple 600 round cases of loaded Lapua 55g ammo ($0.48 per round) for less than you can buy just the brass, and that's the brass I use for my LB loads.

Not the rifle versions but we've started using all the Apache cases at work instead of pelicans. No broken or failed ones yet and we send equipment to contractors all over the US. They have broken pelicans before.
I have 1 Pelican 1750 and 3 of the Apache cases. In my opinion they are very comparable.

Two locks on a rifle case is a massive fail especially if you plan on flying anywhere. I’ve had baggage monkeys blow the hasps off the side of several 1750 cases by slamming the locks into something. Thankfully Pelican was smart to put 4 hasps on the case I have a 1750 that I don’t use anymore due to that very problem. I have a couple of Pelican Vault cases in comparable size. The Vaults are superior to the 1750 style. The lock hasps have double the amount of polymer compared to the 1750 style. The baggage goons still break them when they have 50 pounds of stuff in them.The foam I replace with the Magpul Daka Grid
Not saying the baggage monkeys won't break them, but we've had less broken locks/lock points on the HF cases than the Pelican cases. We don't have any of the vault style in use to compare. Not sure why, we also had more issues with broken catches on the pelicans
Not a bad optic at all. I swapped out the riser for an ADM qd mount. AD-T1Mine showed up today. pretty impressed by the clarity of it, my first prizm/primary arms optic.
