Y'all take it back! It looks cloudy here in Southern Minnesota today, but the weather is reporting Sunny conditions. Its all your damned smoke blocking out the sun.

We need all the sun we can get this time of year to ward off a fast-approaching winter!

Welcome to most summers in Central WA. The last two years have been the first in years we havent had this shit in a very long time. Local fires dump smoke right into our valley and it socks us in for awhile. Our AQI is 376 right now, yay:laughing:

My sister in law in Victoria, BC has been whining about smoke blowing over from Washington.

It's worse today than yesterday. Didn't stop me from working on my pickup though. The smoke has made it nice and cool out.

Some fucktard has been spotted lighting fires around the brownsville area.(north of Eugene) White Nissan truck with a black

camper. :mad3: I get a feeling this is going to be common place with all the criminals running around. Some dude up in Portland was

arrested twice in one day for starting fires. Yes TWICE....something wrong about that?. :mad3:

I don't know what possesses someone to set fires like that. But I REALLY don't know what the hell possess the police to let this fucker GO!?? THey should have James Byrd Jr'd his ass.

Fucking Sand Hollow trip can’t come soon enough...

I’m tired of headaches and being fatigued every day.

I hear ya, I've been a zombie lately. Long nights and early mornings.
I ain't trying to bitch though. I'm enjoying just trying to help.
Edit:
Props to Snowbird13 for willing to hook me up with a pump. Its much appreciated!

You Molalla folks got a heck of a deal going on there. I have a buddy there that stayed to put out fire that threatened residences. The power co shut off their power on Sept 7th, everyone is on a well. None of the firefighters they we’re told would be there showed up. They fought fire for a week and never saw a firefighter. They chased off roaming looters and fire bugs. I understand a couple firearms may have been unholstered to help the lost fools find their way out of the hills.

Im in southern OR. Visibility has been about 1200 feet 15 miles from the fire. The AQI was as high (low) as 550 over the weekend, and I thought the scale topped out at 500. I was on the Archie fire today doing some hazard assessment for the highway. Visibility was as low as 75 feet. I smell like I was in a smoker. Last count I knew about 800 residences have been lost to two fires down here. An old timer that’s been in the area his entire life (65?) and this is the worse fire season he’s seen.

I read a stat that 500k people in Oregon have been evacuated I the last week, that’s 1/8th of the population. We’ve been loaded and ready to evacuate if needed, but it’s looking better with humidity bouncing off of 80 in the mornings.

I was out last night till 2am or so. Up Sawtell, Colton and up Hillockburn looking for looters. There were several others doing the same. I helped a cop search around a property because he had a call someone was breaking in. There was no sign of entry but the cop was glad we stopped to help him out.

I went to check on my parents house at 2am a couple weeks back when they were evacuated and was glad to get chased down by 2 of my childhood friends on quads with thier guns wanting to know who I was and what I was doing. Was thankful that some people cared enough to watch over the hood

Had some rain overnight in the Issaquah area. Hopefully it knocked down some of the smoke. The sinus headaches and black buggers are getting old.

No rain here yet. The air is a lot better today. Yesterday was slightly hazy, went to work (20 min away south Salem) and it was way worse, had to wear a N95 to do anything outside. Hopefully today is different. Praying for the rain.

Didn't do shit, AQI still over 200 in North Bend. I spent the whole day yesterday and bpart of the night outside of the house in my work truck, was probably out if the truck at jobsites for five hours total and I feel like I was smoking last night. May have to take it up again just to get some clean air!:smokin:

Orygun, you can take your smoke back anytime you'd like, thanks. :flipoff2:

This was in the Gorge yesterday. The Columbia river is just off the road in both those pictures
