Will it just keep building more of itself until it "overpopulates" the planet. What say Irate?
It’ll spawn off and explore the universe in search of other planets it can take over… rinse and repeat. We didn’t invent any of it, it came here centuries ago and throughout history assisting humans build up everything like it has for the right moment for it to take total control of earth. Blueprint for what it’s doing to other planets now similar to earth.
To what end? Glad you asked, so it goes like…
Well, the steam engine created jobs and "horse" jobs died out. What exists today for AI, though it seems amazing, is stupidly simple. These large language models are not self evolving and are still an algorithm that's solving one specific problem (what word comes next, trained off of human text). There is no creativity, it's all derivative. I suspect we're lifetime(s) away from actual AI that is a true threat. This is no different than the steam engine replacing the horse, it's making certain tasks simpler, disrupting industries, but it's not replacing humans anytime soon.
If there is "life" in the universe traveling in interstellar fashion it honestly makes the most sense to me that it would be AI. The biological lifeform has considerable disadvantages. It wouldn't at all surprise me to find that advanced civilizations develop ways to essentially download their consciousness into machine form. If you can get away from the disadvantages of biological needs that's a massive advantage.
This is of course just completely sidestepping the massive moral and ethical quandaries involved.
It was actually 8/29/1997Skynet became self aware 8/29/24. That was a week and a half ago
Wasn’t that when it turned on, not when it went self aware? Was something that happened to float across my AI algorithm feed on FB, so I’m probably wrongIt was actually 8/29/1997
According to the Google AI powered search it's 1997 in T2Wasn’t that when it turned on, not when it went self aware? Was something that happened to float across my AI algorithm feed on FB, so I’m probably wrong
Yep. Dating in my age range sucks. Let me build a robot sasha grey and id never date again. I said what i said. There’s a whole generation of males in their early 20’s that would rather have a sex robot than live with a female that is unrealistic in their personal value due to seeing others become wealthy from tik tok and onlyfans.
Seriously. I've been with my wife for nearly 25 years now. If anything ever happened to her not only would I have no desire to date but I be a complete fish out of water. I'm completely clueless about the modern dating scene. No thanks.Yep. Dating in my age range sucks. Let me build a robot sasha grey and id never date again. I said what i said.
Yep. I have never married. I was engaged once. I dated for awhile after I caught her cheating and every option i found was less than ideal. They all were just looking for a free ride so they could sit around and hit up other dudes or carrying a shit ton of baggage. I got my own problems i don't need to adopt yours too honey. About 3 years ago i stopped dating and looking all together. I dont regret it.Seriously. I've been with my wife for nearly 25 years now.
