Austin... TX? Nope. Minnesota!
It seems like almost everything I own calls for oddball weights. I don't want to vary from them in the winter, as I need things to start at 30 below.

All the regular stores charge a fortune for these, and most online retailers are elevated, at a minimum.

What's the best/cheapest source for:

0w20 Synthetic (Prius)
5w20 Synthetic (F150)
0w30 Synthetic (XC90)
0w40 Synthetic (Sprinter/Passat)

I have GALLONS of regular grades (10w30, 10w40, etc.) that I buy when I see it on the clearance racks at O'Reilly, and I have quite a bit of 5w40 T6 that I picked up when it as on sale, but the main vehicles I drive all call for these odd weights for which I pay through the nose.

I know Walmart has the first 3 in your list
All 4, actually. Its where I get it (when in stock)
In todays car market, those are not oddball oil weights...as stated above Walmart carries at least 3 of the 4,
0w40 probably has to be ordered
0W40 Mobil1 European Car Formula is stocked on the shelf in 5qt jugs. 0w30 is actually the hardest one to come by.

Yeah, these are totally normal...everywhere that sells oils has these. I usually do Canadian Tire up here, but Walmart, Napa, etc. have them too. Pennzoil or Mobil1 for me usually.

So normal, that I can't find any off-label in these weights. No Amazon Basics, SuperTech, Napa (other than 5w20), Oreilly/Autozone/etc. house brand, Mystic, Farm-Rated, or Citgo.

Every one of those weights is on amazon for approximately $5/quart. Thats quite reasonable for any weight of synthetic. Its one of the few things clown world hasnt driven the prices up on.

Last time I needed to hit Summit's $99 free shipping threshold I just added a 6 pack of Mobil 1 ESP 5w30 for the TDI, it was the same price as Amazon, IPD, and O'Reilly's.

A lot of people have switched their F-150 to 5w30 and the intardnet claims it helps with cam phaser life.

I know one that the owner tried 15w-40. His cams were not happy at -40*...

That engine was toast at 100k. Heads were junk as oil couldn't get through the passages, phasers were plugged up with junk and garbage also. :lmao:
