Well if I got it mounted up to shoot anything that would be cool, but lifes been in the way. That said we've done some looking with it like a monocular at night and it's pretty nice. Easily spotted the owl that was hanging around our field all fall. FOV is narrow due to the minimum magnification which would be its only con so far.
