What's new

Night before 4th of july LC

SLOWPOKE693 is in the cast.

I broke my hand a couple weeks ago, but I didn't get a cast:homer:

The injuries suck but the time off is fucking priceless. There is a bunch of stuff I'd love to be doing around the house that I can't right now but still, floating around in the pool does not suck.

Union guys?......Grievance incoming on Monday for you doing there job and they'll still get paid:lmao:

Worse, public employee union guys. But I've made a career out of making them understand how good they have it and getting rid of those who try to abuse it. They fuck with me, I will put in the work to get them fired.

I also know most of their jobs better than they do so it helps. I help them when they need it, and make them suffer when they don't ask for help and fuck things up and I have to do the PR bullshit of why things aren't fixed.
I make good money for what I do, think my staff respect me and am not afraid to ask for help or give praise for a good job when they do it.

you're playing the government game wrong

make that budget ridiculously overrun, get more to waste next year, get more taxes approved to maybe get the public to wake up to the theft they've been gaslit into accepting as normal
win-win-win

FUCK NO, ITS MY TAX DOLLARS TOO. I am back where I grew up, so I literally see it as my job not to fuck off everything my wife, her family and my family pay for.

The flagstaff airport is about a 7 min drive. Head on over. Planes take off over my house regularly.
Edit. I still remember from the old place when you invited all of sac over fer wings when you lived next to autozone. I showed up and since i was new to sac state(2007ish) i unfortunately didnt have any coeds info. I had a good time and enjoyed meeting you.

Damn, back in the days when I'd buy a keg just because it was Friday...or Wednesday....or Tuesday....

My neighbors were awesome.

In.... ish. Got a hotel on base and have my gaming PC set up. Got a bottle of Gin…

Be careful with that stuff. Worst hangover of my life happened after I moved in to the barracks when I got served with divorce papers (Mrs #1). We drank, and played on the Sega Genesis until we ran out of gin. The next morning(?) light was too loud :barf:

In, just got some frozen milk jugs thrown in Granny’s swamp cooler. It’s fucking hot outside.

Got tomorrow through Sunday off I’ll see how long I can do nothing before getting bored and working on the house remodel or wrenching on the Jeep. I miss my shade tree it’s going to be 80degrees at 6:00am and go up from there again. Kills any desire to work outside.
I have been thinking about those portable canopies, something like 12x12 will give enough height to work on my F250.

Waiting for a right deal.

Fixed the last remaining things on the trailer before showing it to HOPEFULLY the new owner.
Took my kids camping at an invite only campground with WiFi.
Gassed up the off road toys and generator.
Brought gas for the chainsaw so I can piss off the owners by cutting down trees they said have to be removed.

It shouldn’t a nice 106 F at home on Saturday.

Spent a good part of the day welding an excavator bucket.

Finish tomorrow, need to fab a gate for my flatbed truck, dig out the steam cleaner, wash and paint some stuff, weld up a cylinder, cut a bunch of firewood, remodel a bathroom, Organize a trailer, etc, but an air compressor together, etc etc. Enough shit for a couple years if I didn't go to work.
Definitely not wasting a day of good weather and good health on not being productive.

Put a bunch of tools away, finished welding excavator bucket, tried to sort out a hydraulic issue, fixed some lights, got the steam cleaner out, washed the bush hog so I can paint it when it stops raining, fixed the carb on a gen set, started working on fabbing the tail gate for the flatbed which is going to be way more work that I expected.
Realized it was almost 2300 and hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon so had supper... can of corn and a toast with peanut butter
