Well bro in law flaked, what else is new. Hes cleaning his yard fer us heading over there tomorrow.
I usually dont invite people over if wifes home. Shes worried house is never picked up enough, heck we live here. So anyone in the flagstaff area that wants to be fed in a non romantic manner hit me up.
 
in. Working tomorrow with Friday off. I am pretty sure that everything we will be doing tomorrow could have been done Friday instead. But I guess some people were going to be out Friday. So they talked the boss into letting them trade days to keep a project on its timeline. I'm an auxiliary to the activities and just along for the ride. Or the boss wanted me there to keep the others from causing to much trouble. Oh well. I'll take the three day over a split weekend.

Dumped some seafoam in my truck's oil and intake after work. Seems to be idling quieter already. Hopefully the tick is gone by the time I change the oil.

In. RP finally dropped to 3, which still means everyone is on call and as dry as it is won't be shocked to have to go fight a fire tomorrow, but at least I don't have to sit in the office all day for however many days in a row it's been now. I can finally at least go visit the boat and make sure it's still afloat lol.

make that budget ridiculously overrun, get more to waste next year, get more taxes approved to maybe get the public to wake up to the theft they've been gaslit into accepting as normal

In, just got some frozen milk jugs thrown in Granny’s swamp cooler. It’s fucking hot outside.

Got tomorrow through Sunday off I’ll see how long I can do nothing before getting bored and working on the house remodel or wrenching on the Jeep. I miss my shade tree it’s going to be 80degrees at 6:00am and go up from there again. Kills any desire to work outside.
 
eyeball stye thing finally started draining which is way neat, upper eyelid had about a 3/4" ball of pus stuck inside it, now it's back down to about 5/8" or so and still oozing from the inside judging by the pus colored smear that I'm typing this through

The flagstaff airport is about a 7 min drive. Head on over. Planes take off over my house regularly.
Edit. I still remember from the old place when you invited all of sac over fer wings when you lived next to autozone. I showed up and since i was new to sac state(2007ish) i unfortunately didnt have any coeds info. I had a good time and enjoyed meeting you.

I get to work 06 to 1800 tomorrow. Things won’t get too stupid until later in the afternoon. I’ll have help as things get busier in the HOA. At 1759, there better be a clear path to the door. Did I mention it’s all “holiday pay” :smokin:

Sitting in the air conditioning trying to explain to Elliot that outside is not good right now (it’s 108 right now). He doesn’t believe me.

I made a batch of Mom’s potato salad yesterday, flavors are blended well today, it’s a good batch :smokin:

Currently sipping on a margarita, monitoring the grass fire to our south west. I swear we have a firebug in the area 😡

The last time I stepped foot in a PepBoys I was lookin for a carb part for the 1970 Pontiac LeMans I had at the time.

After repeating myself four times with make, model, year, engine, and transmission specs the kid asks me, “Are you sure?”. As I held up my keys I asked him if he wanted to go out and see it, at that moment a older guy walked out of the back. As he approached he repeated the information I had been giving the kid. He went straight to the bank of binders on the counter, then looked in the computer… “I’m really sorry sir, we don’t have any in our inventory”. Then gave the kid a look :laughing:
 
In. Off till Monday.

Mowed the back yard, assembled my cheapo winch hitch mount for my car trailer so I can move my toolboxes to my new job on Wednesday. Receiver will get cobbled onto the trailer this weekend.

Had to trim the mount to fit the winch, can't use the handles unless I weld em on. I'm guessing a 10k warn is a little larger than they expect folks to bolt in there but it's what I got kickin' around.

In.... ish. Got a hotel on base and have my gaming PC set up. Going to play with my other fake internet friends this weekend. Got a bottle of Gin, some beers, plenty of food and I'm going to hermit it up.

Tomorrow there is a car show on base and a concert. Theory of a Deadman is playing tomorrow. If that building on the left of the photo wasn't there I would be able to see the concert from my room.

Just came back into the house.
Raked some needles and crap under the tree in the front yard.

Moms Impala is on the jackstands, took both front tires off for access.

Tracing a possible power steering leak.

Checked the power steering pump, no play in the pulley and dry. Not seeing much on the lines going to the pinion rack.

Took the front undertray off, also removed side panel over by the accessory side.
Could not find much, old and grungy crap gunked up (replaced a hydraulic motor mount on pass. side a few months back). Likely where ton of this gunk came from.

Took a pressure washer to it all, likely take another peak at it tomorrow...
