Cut and sprayed field to plant late season sunflowers.
Lost my early season planting, because i am a dumb arse and didn't spray field.
They got overgrown by weeds wheat from cover crop.

In, drinking a Kolsch, waiting for it to cool off so I can open the house up and start cooking for tomorrow. German Potato salad, orzo salad with feta, dill, cucumber lemon and yellow pepper. Salad and green beans from the garden and grilling corn and a whole beef tenderloin I'm going to rub with garlic, rosemary EVOO and some other herbs

Can you get a flight

Super simple to make. I don't even use a recipe. Diced onion, chopped parsley, dry mustard, EVOO, red wine vinegar, fresh ground pepper. Mix in bowl.

Sautee some cut up bacon while boiling potatoes until fork tender. Chop the potatoes still warm and toss with the above mixture and the bacon. Sometimes I use a little of the bacon fat as well.

Serve warm or cold. Up to you.

I do have to go in to work tomorrow morning. One of our server rooms had the AC crap out in this heat so we threw a portable unit in that needs the condensate catch can dumped every so often. Didn't want to pay one of my staff 4 hours if double time to do it

SS came in today so I went out and spent some, topped off the gas tank, bought some geedunk at the dollar store, went to the grocery store I suddenly wanted some potatoes Au graten for tomarrow, and was hoping for a mix but they didn't have any. Paid the rent and came home just about through an Unclaimed madero.
I have some stew meat thawing, thinking about browning it adding some beef broth and cooking in the ovenfor lunch tomarrow then making some instant mashed and toping the beef kind of a shepards pie. With green chili of course

To big for a chair. I have plenty of ideas, just didn't want to deal with it in a 100 degree room in the time I had. It'll be an easy trip and dump tomorrow while the wife is still sleeping.

I could just pay someone a bunch of OT on a holiday, but I'm the kind of public employee who actually tries to save money. I know, crazy right. But it is my tax dollars too.
