Funny, we have a dog named Axle also. He was named that because he ran out in the road right in front of us out in BFE and I thought I had smoked him with the front axle. He is now our frogger champion.

I've never been a cat person. I tolerate them, but never a big fan. My wife fosters litters of kittens from the local shelter, and this pretty girl picked me as her human. I decided to keep her.

Cats are so much easier than dogs

Leash and harness make it easy to travel as well. A couple "guided" trips for an area and we've had good success with the cats staying in that area off leash

104 outside, 85+ inside, we rarely use the A/C . . . ice water for Rowdy.
Scooped a quart or so out of his water fountain & refilled with ice.

Little bastard is a sucker for clicking or crackling noises, stopped eating to just watch the ice melt
