NH oil application gun

thanks. reviews were mixed on the bottom one, and it looks like the same as the top except extra hoses. figured i could just grab some spare fuel/coolant rubber line and a hose clamp to spray shit into cavities.

lots of forum posts say the airless guns work if you warm the fluid film up first.

didn't pull the trigger on either. I'll stay indecisive for a while longer:homer:
You can also cut it with vegetable oil. But.... Do you really want to have to heat the stuff up? Or add oil? Those wands have a straight nozzle and a 360 nozzle on the end of them(to be fair, you can buy the wands separately). I didn't think a long piece of hose will net the results you're after.

 A bucket of hot water seems pretty easy.
I buy by the 5gal bucket...a bucket in a bucket wouldn't be ideal. Pumping from a bucket to a smaller container, to put in a bucket of hot water is time consuming. I'm usually spraying more than one vehicle in a run. I don't like extra work... It makes more sense to just buy the right equipment for not much/if any more money:laughing:

I still dont even know wtf this shit is but I'd buy the gun over a bucket just because tool.
A very nice slimy lanolin mess that stains your lawn, driveway and clothing......causes you to swear when you knock the bucket over or spray yourself....but it supposedly keeps the salts aways from the steels

I have a friend uses an airless sprayer (but he's a commercial truck shop so for him the savings was in being able to set the whole pump right on the 5 gallon bucket) - For my own applications on to pickups/cars I would only do it if I still had a way to use the extension wands.

got my gun in the mail and have a gallon of fluid film that I can't return.

now to figure out if i'm going to have time to set it up and actually use the stuff. O do i return the gun, cut my losses on the gallon, spray bomb the undersides with another rattle can or three, and pull the hose out and spray underneath the trucks every couple weeks

neither is exactly rust free to start. i'm just trying to slow/stop the expansion:homer:
