Stopped in today to order a '22 F350 DRW.

New car manager says Duallys are 6+ months out... Ford doesn't plan to have ANY stock until early-mid '23 and all F350 dually and larger are build to order until late '23.

I put in my order anyway $500 refundable deposit so we'll see if they actually build it.

As posted in the 7.3 Ford V8 thread, I ordered a 350 SRW and was told 4-6 months, so it looks like all of them are experiencing delayed delivery.

I said in the 7.3 thread I ordered my F450 in October and it's going to be delivered after first of the year. I told them I couldn't take delivery before then so they have been holding it until after the first. And the dealer I ordered from did not require a deposit.

What trim level if you don't me asking?

Its everyone, hence used prices.

Fun fact, the deposit means nothing. You didnt buy anything, nor have they offered you a service. Just mind games to keep you from shopping around.
Fair enough but at this point getting "a spot inline" might be of interest and if physically giving them funds to hold secures that price/position it seems worthwhile.

I also got the same price as I was quoted in August so it seems I might have dodged the December price increase.

THe lot where they stage the truck frames before they go to the plant is down the street from my work. They have stopped moving frames to the line which means the line is probably shut down. They have every lot close to the plant filled with trucks waiting for something, probably chip shortage issues. Between the lot out front, the parking lot of worlds of fun and the lots around the plant there are probably over 1000 trucks sitting. And those are just the lots I see on my way to work.

The lot out front of work.

There are a couple fields full of new GM cars & trucks sitting by Rt 67 in Midlothian, TX. I'm sure the field mice are loving their rent free winter homes and all the soy wire casings they get to snack on courtesy of GM. :lmao:

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I think I'll be avoiding cars/trucks built in 20 & 21 model years both new and used. 2022 seems like it's going to be another one to add to the list....

The Kentucky plant shutdown on 12/27 I think

Are they still blaming it on electronics components?
I didn't get a response to that end.
It's not just electronics, stuff like 5th wheel prep (metal brackets) is a no order item for timely truck builds.

Guys on this board we’re arguing with me in another thread $75k truck don’t exist. I guess they’re right they’re $80k now
They are all smoking crack or something. The difference in price between a F250 and the F450 similarly equipped was only $3k

You can run the platinum over $100k.

All this inflation is making truck pricing look more reasonable:laughing:

Exist, absolutely. Baseline? Nope. People made it sound like you can't get a decent truck off the lot for less than $70k.

Jokes on the mice, there is no wiring in them and the reason they are sitting 😁

Buddy bought a ram 3500 4x4 dually for 60k. It's the tradesmen but not a base tradesmen.

Not dually but we have had 2 F-250 work trucks on order since like July they are scheduled for late January delivery:homer:

The big boss got on them because we were hoping to get a few large asset purchases on the books this year for tax reasons so they scrounged up 2 more for us that we just picked up.

I was talking to the fleet sales guy about the electric Mustang and Bronco things they had, he basically said that's all neat but if they sent me 100 F-150s I could sell them by the end of the year.
