Nevada county fair

Im picking up a load out of Dallas tomorrow to head that way. 2BB can I park my semi at your place?
 
So…according to the calendar Sat night is monster trucks. Sun is the tough truck.

For those that know, how is parking, their site says free shuttle to the high school?

Do we need a separate ticket for the grandstand events?

do we need to buy in advance?

My reference point is the Dixon May fair, and it requires a separate ticket and sells out way in advance.

Sat is monster trucks and the pro class tuff trucks. Sun is the stock tuff trucks going side by side. This is the first year ever that they are not doing the demolition derby. There were not enough entries as old iron cars are harder to find around here now
 
Yes the arena event tickets are separate from the fair entrance tickets. Usually the arena events sell out so always smart to buy online ahead of time
 
Parking is fucking NUTS. Literally a field with some ropes, and anywhere you can park a vehicle you park it. If you look up the location on Google earth I was parked in the trees. No lines. No organization. Just find yourself a spot and park it. You could also park in the field across the street that’s all open and shit.

Add says the truck stuff sells out so just buy tickets. I’m going to tell you I’m buying tickets so it’s one more place he has to look for my wife. If Pro Class is anything like Saturday last year it’s worth the money.

Edit: last year some high school kid entered his daily driver in the tough truck. Pretty sure ADD cried a bit inside when he slammed it into the wall. Beautiful unscratched Toyota truck went SLAM into the wall so hard I think the kid’s dentist felt it.

Same, I’ve got street parking for whatever in rancho. I’m tucked back out of the way in our development.
 
Reminder to all… the large parking area across the street is sold and not available for parking, it is going to be an RV park. Probably used to hold 400 vehicles. Last night parking and traffic was already a mess. HIGHLY recommending to park at Nevada Union High School and taking a shuttle. It’s free and they are also handing out free admission tickets to random people taking the shuttle. There are also shuttles from the Rood Center in Nevada City I think and probably more locations in town.

Hopefully they have $8 Odouls ON ICE this year. Otherwise I’m going to the wife’s car for my non-alcoholic indulgences.

Etyler2 any idea how late the shuttle runs and where you get it from the fairgrounds?
How long of a ride is it?

It's a 15 min ride with traffic. It's my old high school. About 3 miles from my house
 
We’re going to need a big area at the tough trucks if we’re going to neglect our kids and wives while we circle jerk.
