What's new

Name That Manual

I drove a Autocar rig up truck that had this transmission

You never used 1 going down the road in the aux. transmission
The weight of your load dictated how many gears you used.
double overdrive
speedy truck

Do you even big truck bro?
More than you aparently.
Ive had 2 trucks with 465s, ive got 2 more 465 in the shop getting built for a jeep and a k20, and ive driven another dozen or so with 465s.

Not to mention some one already posted a pic of a 465 shifter confirming what i said.

So, the fuck you talkin bout kungfool?

That you had to push down on the shifter for reverse
My 2008 GTI had the push down for reverse, they've kept it around for awhile

Column 5 row 4 is the 6 speed behind a 7.3 superduty

I wasnt sure about what he was meaning by it since my comment was about 465s rev postion.

Wtf did he or you bring up mdt/hdt to me for? I wasnt commenting about them.

But since were talking about that now.
Very little. I ran a eaton 6spd for about 2 years, 5 or 6 different ih 1600-4900 with 5spd +2spd rear
And one ford louieville cab with a split 10 unsyncroed.

And 1 90's volvo with a eaton split 10 1 time.

On my Bug, it has a fixed knob with a trigger thing that you pull up to get it in reverse. (74’) On the Delorean, you have to pull up on the knob to get reverse.

Thats Right!

So again he asks not expecting a coheirent answer.

What about my comment that you quoted have to do wit mdt/hdt?

Reverse is up and to the left on a HDT transmission.

10spds or less is just a glorified pickup transmission. :flipoff2:

Or a visit to the Weismann shop and dumping 30k.

Either way works:grinpimp:
Ohhh . . . a good ol' F.U. big lottery win, like them folks on those TV reality shows.

I thought you meant winning a couple grand & throwing a new tranny in the race truck after replacing the wheels on the house :flipoff2:

A couple of those patterns I’ve never seen before. Recognize most of them. Some of the odd ones are Clark transmission’s. I swear Clark made it a game to make the weirdest shift patterns.
