What's new

Mostly broke rocker crawler

I see the aces shit all the time on the gram, it scares me because there has been so much "come and gone" over the years but recently helping my boss with his Holley TermX i wasn't super impressed so trying the aces might be worth it.
That LS standalone kit was priced really well that's for sure.
I have installed dozens of the holley kits and not one has ever run well. Rf interference, piss poor tuning setup and the new ones have injector problems.
I read all the manuals on the aces and it's alot like normal tuning maps. We shall see I guess:stirthepot:

Welp, the truck runs awesome and I hate to disassemble a good running rig but the ls looks lame. I've been mocking this up on a spare engine.

That's some Bebop stuff (don't like the look of the plastic intake so putting a horsepressure booster in it's place) if I've ever seen anything :lmao:

I install Holley all the time and have 0 problems... Weird :grinpimp:

Good luck to get support for Aces. Use a factory ECM if just running the engine that's what you're trying to do.
If you want a small, waterproof, well supported, cheap ECU, I suggest the MS GoldLite.

Congrats:flipoff2:

Not impressed with the Holley hardware.
Non serviceable display that dies in a year? Dual sync distributor that dies in a year of weekend warrior use?

Software side seems good, plenty of functionality.

I am really curious about the Aces stuff and it's heritage, where it is made, what is the core hardware etc.

Built this airbox and had a vision of my truck flopping/ripping the blower off. Trying to figure out someone to 3d print one out of plastic because im not hanging a giant stainless cleaner on this thing.

I'm glad it's working for you but I've lost too many hours on em and have to find another route. Might work, might not but it's no more chinese than holley.

Great job on the belts. Absolutely great placement for the extra idler. Luck or is that an intentional location for one?

A 3D printed scoop would be badass also. The ability to tweak the detail and just press ‘print’ if you need a new one.
