According to disneys original presser it looks they had already dropped her character before all the shenanigans. They said she wasnt currently under contract and they hadnt had plans to bring her back. Now they are just trying to claim credit for "firing" her.
Fuck disney.

Her ‘fans’ that we’re going to drop here were already upset over her social media posts and left already. She is going to make her own path her own way, and live off family money. If she didn’t have family take care of her earnings from professional fighting and acting already.

That may be true, but the man running 'the Mandalorian', Dave Favreau (sp?) had/has her in the upcoming season 3, as well as the new series 'Rangers of the New Republic' & he's pissed that he will have to re-write the stories if her firing sticks. He said he will not 'replace' her with another actor. Disney corporate has been looking to cancel her for awhile tho.

The last I heard is that she was actually very close to having her own series. I don't know if you watch and/or follow The Mandolorian, but she was a huge part of it's success and had a big fan base. Yeah, she ran her mouth a lot, but firing her was still stupid and just a part of cancel culture. She will never work in the film industry again unless something changes.
