I've known 3 pilots who are scared SHITLESS of gliding because it's their worst nightmare. The other 2 we're in for the crash training.

The rest had balls and loved the ever living shit out of it for the shear flying.

If you've never been in a glider, it should be on your bucket list. It's unreal serene flying.

Serious question, how would a 170 be better than a 185. You can't carry 4 adults in a 170 but easily could in a 185.
