I'm currently swapping an LS3 into a 1976 Cadillac. The Cadillac has a temp warning light, I'm trying to find a temperature switch to turn the light on that uses 12mmx1.5 threads. I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything.

I just drill and tap one of the ports to 1/4” npt and use a bushing if I need an 1/8” npt. You still have the other side for the ls temp coolant sensor.
 
is this it. i used this on the top of the engine for oil pressure gauge. had to adapt to 1/8 but no biggie

Have you had good luck running those setrab in a head? Bmw temp switches for the Volvo controller I’ve had trouble with them getting heat soaked and welding the contacts closed. They like being in the radiator.

I have not tried them.
I would wire the light to the ECU.
