What's new

Local to you gas prices.

Didn't know ARCO was still a thing. BP bought them out in the late 90s then Cononoco and Hilcorp bought out BP.
Hilcorp almost everything and CP got Kuparuk.

Weird how L48 diesel is more $$. It's normally cheaper here. Maybe because we don't have gasahol?

Reading the comments the deal is just getting the pump to stop at a certain dollar amount, guy in video makes it seem like its a big score which its not.

My bad!

Kinda what I figured.

You guys still remember the mute button?

Push every Fucking button on the pump until it shuts up? Or spray adhesive into the speaker hole?
If I can’t find the mute button I usually jam my key in the slot till it stop making noise.

That pump stop thing, pumps in New Jersey have done that for decades. I don’t know why none of the others have that feature.

I've got two places I hit. The local Shell is $4.85... plus free cup of coffee with 10 gals:homer: When I go down the hill, I fill at the cheap place for $4.15... but they 'play games' for the weekend to nail the Tahoe traffic(30 cent bump). But it is still cheaper than $4.85:emb:

If I drive more sane, I can get a tank to last four days... otherwise, I get three days driving very sporty up Wentworth Springs. Yup, usually three days:lmao:

Yeah, y'all need to move out of that state.

Gas and diesel are both $3.399 at our local truck stop, and we have some of the highest gas prices in the region (I try to fill up when passing the town south of here, their prices are $3.159 and $3.299 today).

also, do you know the mute button on the newer style pumps?
The 500S is still the newest that is in use all over, as far as I know. Older models don't have mute buttons. I'll see if I can find put if there's a mute on the Wayne Ovation dispensers.

Snag a pic of it to post if you get a chance. I might be able to figure out what it is an what functions it has.

3.50 for diesel, 3.65 RUG.

I haven't seen diesel more than gasoline in several years.

Coming from DD'ing a diesel for the last 15 years and thinking that diesel price from station to station made no sense, now I DD a 91 octane user and it will fluctuate 50 cents between stations. The regular is all around $3.33 and the 91 is between $3.83 and $4.33. Of course nobody post the 91 price on their boards :flipoff2:
