Long story somewhat short...My wife and I are getting our house ready to list(shooting for sept. 15) If we get it sold we will move into the rv. We are moving to the mountains in Ga,TN, NC or KY. My wife works from home and I will be looking for a piece if property to buy for us to live on and build a cabin. We have an area picked out but will try others if needed.

If that doesn't work out we may get a one ton truck, a fifth wheel and just travel around for a few years.

We bought a Flagstaff 25brds that is the max my Gladiator can tow. We will not move it often or far. One reason for choosing this one was the ability to provide an office space for my wife.

The first mod was turning the bunk room into an office. I used aluminum extrusions and the desk area turned out great. There is room for two 24" monitors.

I also put in a RV Airflow systems expensive foam block to the a/c. It did improve the airflow but not really anything for the noise level.

I did the RC air flow as well, I agree I was upset it was a very expensive Styrofoam section.
BUT, my camper is a 2016, once I installed the RV air flow and turned it on, it blew wood chips out of the vents that have probably been there since new but never had the CFM to blow it all out.

I was hoping for a bigger drop in noise but the airflow is nice. I think there a couple cheaper things out there that would do the job.

I changed the exterior locks out.

I modified the murphy bed loveseat to fit an adult better. I flopped the backrest bracket and added some shims to lean it back. That gained me close to1.5" of seat room. I took out the oem bumps on the bottom seat and added some about .5" taller. These mods made a huge difference for my comfort.
I did have to mod the bump stop that allows it to lay flat.

I was able to remove the seat frame and flip it so it mounted behind the bracket.

You do good stuff, keep it up

Headed to look for a rv park this week in north Ga. We are hoping to book something for November.
We need to order a nice mattress if anyone has any suggestions.

we have the 6" version of this in short-queen size for our camper

Amazon.com

for our bunk beds, i bought a 5" king size and cut it into 2 smaller mattresses with an electric kitchen knife. the lower bunk is wider than a twin, so it worked out.
How is it as far as heat goes? The one in there now is hot.

It's the small things. I made the flip up counter sit flush with better brackets.

Added a real paper towel holder. These drywall screw in anchors seem to work pretty good in the thin wall.

I put a dimmer on the interior lights, works great. I need a filler for the rectangle hole.

Should be able to get someone here to 3D print a filler.
Dimmers are awesome in the RV.

Link to the fold bracket ypu used? I bought one a while back but didn't use it, your setup is perfect

I need to look and see if anyone out there is printing them.
The dimmer is great, the lights are bright as hell which can be good but sometimes they need to calm down.
Here are the brackets, they have a much better catch and release mechanism than the ones that came on there.

We put a deposit on a spot in a rv park in Hiawassee Ga for Nov-Feb. We have someone's realtor looking at our house Fri. the house isn't listed yet, not ready yet but there was a post on Facebook for someone looking in my area. Fingers crossed that works out but if not we will stage the house, list it, move up and hope it sells in a reasonable amount of time. It should.

The people that had the realtor look at the house bought it. After a couple months of work done in a few weeks we closed Thursday and left town early Friday morning.
We towed the rv to Guntersville Al. where we will stay for a few weeks before heading to Hiawassee Ga. We are pretty exhausted but everything went well.
The Jeep did better than expected, it feels safe and comfortable towing. The engine is working hard but getting it done so far. The next trip will be a little tougher with more steep, long hills. The last big hill coming here was hard on it, ending in second gear, 5k rpm 40-45 mph.
No house, no real projects to do, weird. My wifes office is working out great.
